He kept fiddling with his tie on phil show. But you know what and here I will
throw MR another bone ! :) I have anxiety BAD sometimes and that reminded me of exactly what I might be doing in any circumstance ( not even only if i were on the hot seat and accused of a big crime). I am constantly fiddling with my hair when I'm in close quarters with people talking, even good friends. It's just an antsy impulse. And many people with anxiety , ocd and other similar things self medicate through alcohol and street drugs. FYI! I'm not saying that is the case here , but it is the case with many. Also the more anxious I get the more I tend to ramble on . I think some weeks back I posted about this thing.
MOO JMO IMHO ATJ! 100%

Heck he sure wanst anxious on the MB interview!
Or the first uncut video.

He was nervouse because Dr P was in charge of this interview.
MR was in charge of the others!

BBM - I don't believe there is a law saying LE cannot lie to the public when conveying information in an ongoing investigation. It happens all the time. Strategy and tactics.

Can they lie?

Or just leave out certain things!

I'm sure that when LE gets around to arresting MR (if they do) and cold hard facts come to light (if they do) there will still be a number of people who refuse to accept the facts just like in the JA and CA case. There are websites dedicated to denying the facts in those cases. Just the nature of human beings. We don't all agree no matter what the evidence is. MOO

Soo VERY true, me and my friend have different opinions on the west Memphis 3 for example and when i told them about the case i could not believe they thought they was innocent.

I just hope for Dylan and his family's sake that the truth comes out and there is justice served. Thats all i want is for the family to get closure as the not knowing must be torture :cow:

The one thing on the show that I think was manipulation was when Trimarco said he's never had a missing child's parent refuse a polygraph. Trimarco works for the media...How many cases do you think there are where the parent has the "opportunity" to take a polygraph on a national TV show? Before that, he worked for the FBI in Los Angeles. That's one city, how many cases where there where it went as far as the parent having to take a polygraph? Baby Lisa's parents were on Dr. Phil, and there was no mention of them taking a polygraph. Was Trimarco off that week?

IF MR would have gone on the show and willingly taken that poly and passed I probably would have changed my opinion...even if it was inconclusive. If he would have gone on the show and refused the poly, honestly I wouldn't have thought much of that and wouldn't have held that against him. It would be his right to do so. BUT what I saw was so much more damning than a failed or inconclusive poly.

I have no desire to see MR take another poly at this point. There really is no need.

JMHO

Remember MR wants them to look closely at him!

"I would never do anything to harm that boy," Mark said. "I know they are looking at me for being involved at some sort of kidnapping scheme, which is one of the reasons I want them to look closely at me. The more they look at me, the more they are going to realize I have nothing to do with this."

Maybe that's why he's giving them so many reasons to do so!!!

I'd be pretty nervous on Dr. Phil with some of the things that were thrown out about MR. I do 100% agree he should have never said he'd take the poly if he had no intention of doing so. IMO after all that happened on the show and then I was asked to take a poly, I'd so no f'ing way Jose.

In my opinion, BOTH.

LOL I didnt know that double posted lol
but Im not so sure LE can tell someone they failed a poly if they passed.
Im sure that could be used against LE in court!

BBM Tacopino would never allow it. He was calling the shots.

If he is INNOCENT what the heck does he have to be nervous about?
If he is Innocent why did he fail the first poly and then refuse another?

He backpeddles!

This statement by DP is the reason I think MR should have definitely taken the polygraph. Regardless of the statement LE gave supporting their polygrapher, MR had the chance to remove that unfair cloud.

The La Plata County Sheriff's Office does not consider Mark or Elaine Redwine suspects in the disappearance of Dylan. Both have taken polygraph tests. Elaine passed her polygraph and Mark Redwine said he was told that he didn't pass and then he was told that the results were inconclusive and that there were some questions as to whether or not the person giving the polygraph test was qualified.

“That is unfair to you. That is absolutely unfair to you if they bring you someone that is unqualified or an inexperienced polygraph operator and put a cloud over you. That is absolutely unfair to you,” Dr. Phil said to Mark Redwine, adding that he had the best polygraph operator and resources available to him if he would like to clear his name.

I see it a little differently. :) I think when MR first was saying he would take the poly, he meant it and intended to. I think Dr P should have struck while the iron was hot, and taken him right then and there for the test.

Instead, he spent about another hour parading out people to throw accusations at MR (Cory, Elaine, former ex-wife). It just went on and on and on. If Dr P is such a great psychologist, I'm surprised he would think that would keep MR amenable to taking the test. I think he knew perfectly well that that would greatly diminish the chances of anyone wanting to do what they were asking them to. It was bad psychology, but it was certainly "good" entertainment TV, ratings, etc.

I always tend to think that people act in a way to bring about what they really want, regardless of what they say. In this instance, Dr P said he wanted Mark to take the poly, but he sure didn't act that way. I was shocked and very disappointed.

Regardless of innocence or guilt, being on national TV with your ex and your child who hates you, I would think that would be pretty nerve racking. JMO

I don't know that he failed the first poly and I don't fault him for not taking Dr. Phil's poly. I do fault him for saying he would and then not, however.

Exactly. You can just see the difference that having a "powerful" person on your side makes. There's been other cases I've followed where the parents were considered suspicious by many, and they would never be asked to take a polygraph on national TV.

I agree with the bolded above. That's why I think MR used the Jim Beam excuse to wiggle out of the test he agreed to take. All MOO

The way Dr. Phil said that, IMO, was very condescending and set up. It was almost scripted sounding. JMO

Didnt they have lawyers?

Didnt they have lawyers?

Yes, they did. And one of their lawyers has big connections in the media, as he's been involved in many high-profile cases and has even substituted for talking heads when they had the day off.

But I don't understand why Trimarco and Dr. Phil can say no one refused a polygraph...when the Irwins were never even asked, or if they were, the lawyers shot that idea down real quick.
