The admission is covered by attorney-client privilege and the attorney cannot call the police on the client. The attorney also can't advise the client to break the law. So if the client says "I killed someone," the attorney should advise him/her to turn themselves in, but can't call the cops on him/her.

Thanks! Thats what I was wanting/trying to say and for the life of me, just could not get it out like that!

But there was cell activity up until 8 pm.

Inside the house yes. We live in a remote area and can have reception IN the house because of a booster we have, that acts as a mini tower, but once we get away from the house we have nothing.

Good question, dunno. There was a property he recently obtained that he and ER owned together. Unless he thought of moving there?

I just thought it was an odd statement!

So this article

http://www.kjct8.com/news/Investiga...-boy/-/163152/17609894/-/yrl3duz/-/index.html

which has been posted several times already here, written at 1:45 this afternoon states

Officials said that Redwine is cooperating with the investigation and he volunteered to give an official interview to the task force Thursday afternoon.

Lt. Ray Shupe with the task force said, "This is an ongoing investigation and we are not releasing any information about the official interview of Mr. Redwine or what was, or was not taken from Mr. Redwine's residence."

It's almost 6pm... Is the official interview still going on? Is this going to be one of those marathon all-nighters? I know if I was interviewed for more than 15 minutes I would need a nap, a milkshake, and a lawyer. So I wonder if he'll call in a lawyer.

Definetly interested to see what happens next on the heels of the search yesterday and now the official interview this afternoon/evening.... Where is LE going with this??

As you cited though, the court of public opinion seems to deem persons guilty if they get an attorney. Look at John and Patsy Ramsey. From the moment they started talking through an attorney, they were guilty of murdering JonBenet or covering up for Burke.

Exactly! I was going to mention the Ramsey's but didn't want to open up THAT can of worms.

It says he agreed to interview on Thursday afternoon. I'm thinking the interview is over?

I think its too bad that often times in the court of public opinion hiring an attorney means guilt. Everyone has the legal right to representation and should get it. Especially in something as serious as this. Guilt or innocence really has nothing to do with it.

IMO the above statement(specific emphasis on what's BBM) is clear and not murky in the least as to just exactly when and tho, not of course detail specific, the who that they believe KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT happened to Dylan..jmo..and again these are those who are closest with Dylan.

Yes and that is one point that is very concerning but I'm still keeping my mind open for now. I mean the people who know him would be the best judged of what he might have or probably wouldn't have done.

BBM

the same place we want to be - bringing Dylan home
as far as anybody knows dad was the last person to see a living and breathing Dylan

after yesterday and today and all the "internal" cop work is done - dad will be cleared or ???

I really, really wished this SW and stuff would have been done last week....but it is what it is

something we need to possibly consider - dad has lived in the area for some time - it sounds like a small, tight community - LE probably knows everything about everybody...

I think the image of defense attorneys has a lot to do with this; we constantly see various ones who are repellent and almost obviously lying or at least changing the truth.

but according to D's friends, he was supposed to get a ride from dad early that morning. But dad says D was asleep and 'out like a light' so he went to town without him.

When D woke up, and realized he had overslept and missed his ride, he could have used the landline. Why didn't he call his friends who were waiting for
him and tell them he was on the way?

And I don't see why he would be in too much of a hurry to call and see if he could get a ride from someone else. And why didnt he call his dad's cell? And ask when he was coming back to give him a ride?

exactly..these questions IMO are pertinent in that even according to those who know Dylan the best all state that he would HAVE ABSOLUTELY DONE THESE THINGS if in fact the story is as dad says it is(ie. Dylan overslept).. It is not just us, who are on the outside looking in, that are of this opinion..most importantly it is those that are closest to Dylan..

His not doing those things are indicative that the situation IS AT THE VERY LEAST not what we have been told by dad the situation was..

ETA: also info learned from the admin of FindDylan Facebook is that the walk from dads house to friends WAS A 7 HOUR WALK...and someone still believes its possible this boy set out on foot, with all of his possessions he'd brought, along with a supposed fishing pole WITHOUT FIRST CALLING THE FRIENDS to see if their parents could give him a ride?...sorry jmo but there's no way in Hell-o that this is even a viable scenario at this point..jmo.

I think that one of the early interviews with friends, one of the friends said that Dylan had hitchhiked before?? So I think some people are thinking he took off walking, hoping to hitchhike, get cell service, whatever but probably NOT planning to walk all the way to friends house. IMO
