I don't see anything sinister in it either. Nor do I see anything sinister in him taking 16 minutes to reply because there could be a dozen harmless explanations as to why he didn't immediately respond. I was under the impression that the last stop before the house was McD's through the drive thru, so I think there is a strong possibility that he was eating his food, but it could be other things, like he and his dad were talking about something, he was texting someone else and caught up in it, no cell service in a spotty area or he was on the phone with someone else. Remember the records came from Ryan, so we don't know about any of the other texts or calls there were that night.

I THINK MR just told Dylan No and to stop texting. I think he replied to his friend on the sly when his dad was not looking. Eating does not stop a kid from texting. Nor does texting someone else! IDK was just a short reply to a very long answer!

IMO this trip was not going well from the get go!

Mark Redwine is the only person that knows what happend to his son Dylan.
Not one person has seen him (except dad) since his trip to Walmart.
There was no phone activity from Sunday evening on! If Mark saw his son alive and well that morning someone would have heard from him. His things would have been left there.
There would have been something left there of this young man to say hey I was here.

We wont really get any answers unless Dad speaks and as I see it he aint saying nothing!

I wonder if we went back thru this missing thread and counted how many missing ppl
were found and if the person responsible was a stranger or a loved one.

Do you think more victims are found when a stranger is responsible? Because they don't care...?

I was watching this show on ID I cant remember the name of it but it has that profiler Kelly and this serial killer named raven... Raven says they don't want to spend time with a body they don't want to risk leaving evidence and the faster they get away the better. So they dump bodies close to where they did the crime!

BBM , Playing devil's advocate here.. Not necessarily. MR is the only one who knows if MR has anything to do with it. If he did not, then he has no idea. MR does have an advantage over all the rest of us and LE because only MR can eliminate himself if he's not guilty. So actually MR knows what did NOT happen to him..........
And long time no see Eileen. Hope you are well :)

OH hey you reminded me of something I wanted to share. I , too, was watching a show on ID ( shocker ) that was about a man setting fire to his house with gf inside it. IDK their names. But LE went through phone company and got all of their TEXTS even though they were deleted from the phones themselves. Some were weeks/ months old and the phone co still had them ! We'd discussed many times if that was available and I thought the consensus was NOT available but apparently it is. So if LE has their hands on the actual txts sent by DR , MR , and anyone else texting during that entire weekend and few days after, they may very well have a great idea of what happened ! Food for thought.

Hey Schmae I have been working 56 hrs last week so I have not had time to
to even peek in here.

IMO I don't think MR has ruled himself out and if he cant do that im stuck right there. (with MR).

He seems to be the invisible man! How can that be if your son is missing.
We hear and see more of Elaine and Cory! Dylan did not go missing on her watch, he was with his father who it seems has not stepped up to the plate.

Silence is not always golden!

JMO but I wanted to believe MR might have had DR hidden and alive. That would explain what I felt was a lack of concern on his part. But the eerie similarities to the Skelton boys disappearance keeps me from truly believing that. Such darling little boys and never been found. I come to check daily in hopes DR will be found and be home with his mother.

Hi Miss J,
I believe if Dylan was alive and MR had him hidden he would have released him by now. LE would have made some deal with him and lesser charges filed
just bring the boy home.

Unfortunately I think the worst has happened to him and as long as MR says nothing MR is safe.
Nothing can bring Dylan back but as long as he is silent he remains free.

Why else would this man vanish from sight ad not be vocal about his son?

Right ! I was believing he had him stashed somewhere as well but when Phil said if you have him stashed, now's the time, it's only a custodial issue, etc etc ( paraphrasing) then that was the time MR would have come clean I think , if that were the case. Even though I think most of us know it was WAY more than a custodial issue, that would have been the time. I no longer think MR having him stashed is much of a working theory at all.

MR has chosen not to clear his name in order to progress the investigation to help find his son, IMO that says volumes.

I also think the similarities to the Skelton boys disappearances is eerily similar.

its almost half a year since Dylan disappeared :(

I have nothing to say except I have not forgotten Dylan.
I read here every day a few times still, but mostly I'm at a loss for words.

Same here! This case blows my mind. I also read daily, in hopes that something new has popped up. :(

I'm still not seeing any LE-presented evidence that MR disappeared his son. I'm sure MR is hurting very badly and wish the best for him.

I haven't see anything that definitive says that MR has not cleared his name with LE, the people who at this point in time matter the most. MR could have taken another poly, and I don't think LE would either confirm nor deny if he did, nor would the inform others of the result, like ER or CR or the media. It usually isn't LE who informs us of the results of polys or if people have taken them, it's usually the people that took them that tell us that information.

I haven't seen any evidence presented to us that would lead us to any definitive conclusion that LE knows exactly what has happened to Dylan or even what they believe may have happened to Dylan. It seems to me they are exploring each and every possibility imaginable.

I agree ! I'm not defending him at all, just saying that if he is innocent then he, along with everyone else, does NOT know what happened to Dylan. He's not done a good job of putting everyone at ease about his involvement. That's a given. Either he's too disturbed, ignorant or guilty to do that ! I don't know which !

I'm still not seeing any LE-presented evidence that MR disappeared his son. <snip>

Could be LE is playing their cards close to the vest and not revealing anything which would compromise their potential case down the road.

Personally, I wish the best for Dylan. He needs to be found and the person who is responsible for whatever happened needs to be held accountable. One day the person who did this to Dylan will meet his maker. MOO

IMO we won't see any evidence from LE, I do believe that we will see plenty of evidence from the DA that MR disappeared Dylan at trial. There are so many people that are hurting in ways that we can't even begin to imagine, it's got to be the most horrific pain that a mother could ever go through and IMO if MR is hurting, it's hurt he has brought upon himself.

Has anyone heard any additional news concerning the sheriff's internal investigation into former deputy Sutter?

I feel sure it's also got to be the most horrific pain that a father could ever go through.

We have seen NOTHING that says he has cleared his name.
IF MR took another poly I think we would have heard he did and PASSED it I don't think this is something he would hide after the Dr P show. He would want that known.
We don't have to hear it from LE.
It would be nice if MR said something!
