Mark could not lie on Tricias show because Elaine and Cory were listening. If he tried to say he had no wifi, they would have texted Tricia and said he lied.

That is exactly what they did about the mail lady and other things.

Cory was listening and texting Tricia?

I am sure they want to clear him and move on. Which is why they allegedly asked him to retake his poly. But if he keeps telling inconsistent stories of the events they will have a tough time moving on, imo.

There is no MSM report of LE asking Mark to retake a polygraph that I'm aware of.

Elaine was, she texted Tricia in the middle of the show to correct some of the things that mark was saying.

Yes, I do have comments. Thank you.

First, I wasn't laughing about anything. I don't know where you got that from.

Onwards. For me to determine if I see substantial, meaningful changes to the factual information a person gives when they talk about the same thing at different times, I need to compare what the person actually says at one time, to what the person actually says at a different time.

Comparing what you said MR said, to what a reporter said Mark said, to what Mark actually said won't show anything to me. I would end up with the results of a comparison of apples to oranges to bananas to see what the differences are. The results would be expected, predictable, meaningless, and the exercise fruitless. (No pun intended.)

:cow:
I guess I was thinking of this post:

This is getting sillier by the minute.

Do you have a link to Mark saying he texted Dylan after he got home? I don't ever recall seeing that. I guess it's futile to ask.

BayouMistress; Party hats and silly string? Is there someone coming who can make animals out of balloons? I want a giraffe. Or a dog. Something. Anything.

Meanwhile, Dylan is...not at our silly party. What happened to that (beautiful boy) handsome young man? We all want to know. Once and for all.

has there been any MSM or press releases by LE stating that they are not still investigating MR? or that they have moved on to someone else?

I don't recall there being any

No. What's you point? LE hasn't said anything in regards to who is a suspect or who has been cleared.

First day maybe even two is the same as immediately?

Of course it isn't, but I'm beginning to think that tonight people would actually argue about whether the world was flat!

He said one day, maybe even two. Last time I looked, that was 24 to 48 hours. He may not have meant to say it, but he did.

The transcript has been posted more than once, as have TxJan's notes.

I never asked you to compare 'what I said MR said' to 'what a reporter said he said.' I have linked up to two articles, one quoting MR, and the other, with MR actually speaking to Tricia. THOSE are what I am asking you to compare.

It is also about changing options to communicate. If Dylan originally texted friends on his cell phone, why switch to the iPod Touch? Did the battery in the cell phone go dead? Did the cell phone get damaged? Did the cell connection stop working? And why only one text from the iPod? Did the connection stop working? Did no one reply, so he stopped texting? Did the iPod get damaged? Did either or both get taken away from him, that night or the next day, by anyone? Did he need to use the iPod to text another Mac system with iMessage to avoid SMS (texting) charges?

For myself, if I take each option and add them together in different ways, I get possibilities of what might have happened, and why Dylan might not have communicated the next day. Some make more sense than others. By the time I finished (several months ago), I could not come up with any reason why Dylan would willingly stop communicating with everyone, with both devices, short of something happening to both devices, not having a charge cord for either and both batteries went dead or something happening to Dylan.

That is the sticking point for a lot of people. What 13 year old wants to text badly enough to change texting devices, yet stops texting altogether at 9:37 PM without starting again the next day?

Sorry for long winded response. But it did make me think about the possibility of needing to switch to the iPod for iMessage capabilities.

good post thanks! there was lots of going over Dylans contact options.

it is a huge sticking point that Dylan had the options of cell phone, ipod, computer and landline which he could use to contact people and yet there was complete utter silence from him.

What I bolded is NOT my post. It is someone else's.

I told you I was not laughing in my post. When I want to convey laughing I put lol or this > :floorlaugh:

There is nothing indicating laughing in my post.

Again, I don't know where you got that from. I was not laughing, in my post, or here in the real world. Anything but.

Not only that, but he also said he never even thought about looking for the pack until the Search Dog Team came and asked about it. So that makes it CLEAR that he did not look for it, according to the new version, until AFTER he went to town to look for him.

But that conflicts with what he originally said, about assuming D already went to town to see his friends.

So your saying that Tricia, Elaine and Cory were all tied together via their phones so that as soon as Mark said something that Elaine or Cory CLAIMED was a lie, Tricia could then pounce on Mark. I hope that's not true.

Thanks Katy! Bad on me, I didn't catch those discrepancies. Those aren't minor changes. :stormingmad:

No. What's you point? LE hasn't said anything in regards to who is a suspect or who has been cleared.

My point is that until we have confirmation from LE that they are no longer investigating MR then its reasonable for us to continue to look at what he says and does.

As we have been told many many times, these days LE rarely name someone as a person of interest or a suspect unless an arrest is imminent, that doesn't mean that they are not a suspect or person of interest.

Anyone and everyone was allowed to call in to the show. Nothing nefarious about it. But when Mark said anything that others thought was incorrect, they called in or texted to have their own say in reply.

You heard the show, right?

Oh sorry. I guess I misunderstood what you wanted me to compare. I've got the article now. I need to find the one w/MR speaking to Tricia, and then I'll post.
