Failing a polygraph is not proof of guilt, despite people making such a big deal of it. I believe that Breanne Rodriguez' parents failed their poly, but it was not them who killed their little girl, it was a neighbor boy, Shawn Morgan. I'm not going to look up a link, but her case is here on WS somewhere.

Nobody has ever been arrested or charged only on the basis of a failed polygraph. Nobody. He could fail 10 of them and it does not prove guilt.

I wonder, if he had taken the poly from Jack T. and passed it, would it change anybody's mind? I doubt it, they would pick something else to keep
harping about. MOO.

True, but I believe they continued to take the poly's and they did not give inconsistent stories after the fact.

I couldn't agree more. Not only do we not know from LE what Mark's polygraph results really are, even if we did, it wouldn't mean much to me. He could have passed and it wouldn't mean that he's innocent in my opinion.

The mother also reported to ABC that Mark Redwine did not respond when she tried contacting him about Dylan -- even when she got their older son, who is 21, to text his father. Elaine Redwine says she doesn't understand why the father is being evasive about the situation.

So Mark blocked his ex IMMEDIATELY after he texted her and asked if she had heard from Dylan that day. WTH????? Wouldnt he want to hear from her and find out where he might go to look for Dylan? He has already said he didnt know who most of his friends were or where they lived.

And he told Tricia that he blocked her because she was 'out of control' and 'accusatory' and kept yelling at him. THAT IS A LIE. She never even had a chance to speak with him.

Looks like your link is blocked on WS.

BBM. I remember that. Asking off the top of my head but didn't either one of the Walsh's or the Klaas' fail a poly too, or have an inconclusive result. I can't remember but I think there was one of the "MC Activists" that had that same kind of issue too, but I could be wrong.

Innocent people continue to take the lie detector tests and clear up the issues that are inconclusive or deceptive, imo. :moo:

Katydid: Link has little stars in it, so not allowed.

I don't think that refusing to take a polygraph automatically makes someone guilty. MOO.

It is originally from the Durnago Herald, but they updated the report and this quote was lost. This is the only link that I found that has the original report.

I agree, not just that by itself. But taken in context with other factors, it looks very suspicious, imo.

Maybe the Durango Herald removed it because it was inaccurate.

I just have not found the link for that yet, although I REMEMBER IT from when she initially said it.

I posted a while back some links showing that Jaycee Dugard's step dad continued to take them after passing them multiple times, so even people who pass are often put through the ringer too if they are suspected. If they were so all determining, why would LE give him as many as they did, even though he passed them. That fact alone is not enough for me to put weight into them. If they can't believe them when they say, over and over, that someone is truthful, why should I believe it means anything when they say deception or inconclusive? Just a thought.

So, now I have a question, based on my last post, if MR did take another poly and he passed it, would it immediately remove your doubt? Or would you think it a fluke that he passed?

I believe you when you say she said that. However, that does not address when "blocking" took place, nor does it refute MR's statement that EH was yelling and accusatory.

These two people can not talk to each other without supervision.

Here it is from ABC News:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/missing-bo...-disappearance/story?id=17813458#.UbOMkb_3Ay4

Elaine Redwine told ABC News she was having a difficult time getting in touch with her ex-husband about their son.

"He hasn't had any contact with us. [My older son] tried to get a hold of him by texting him, and he wouldn't respond," she said. "I just find it odd that at a time like this, he would be so evasive."

Mark Redwine declined to speak to ABC News.

"When he was afraid in any situation, he knew he could call me and I would drop everything and go out there, first thing," Dylan's brother, Cory Redwine, 21, told ABC News. "He knew that me, my mom, my step-dad, any of us, if he called us and said, 'I need your help,' he knew we'd be there."

Sounds like Cory knew right from the start that Dylan was upset or afraid of his dad, imo.

It does address when the blocking took place, imo. Elaine said she had trouble getting ahold of him. She has said in other interviews that she NEVER once spoke to him about the disappearance. She never had the chance to yell at him or accuse him, because he texted her once and then blocked her and Cory's calls, from the start. :moo:

Sounds like Cory wanted to be seen in a helpful light, imo. He's speaking of Dylan here. Although other places, Cory does speak of his father.

Something that doesn't make much sense to me is that Mark went and reported D missing at the Marshalls office BEFORE he even talked to ER or CR, to see if they had heard from Dylan, and BEFORE he checked to see if D had taken his backpack with him.

Wouldn't he have checked with ER and CR first, to make sure they hadn't heard from him?
Maybe he had called them and told them he was at a friends or had wanted to return home and called them for a ride? It seems odd that he reported him missing before checking with them, imo.

More than likely if Mark indeed sat down with a Bayfield police representative, it was they who suggested or asked if he had first contacted other family members to see if Dylan had been heard from.
After all, he didn't even notice anything missing of Dylan's until he was asked to confirm it (this is according to MR himself on Tricia's show on Sunday night). He didn't think of it until asked... that was not his focus! JMO

It would go along way towards convincing me of his innocence, if he would have continued to take the poly's. If he did so now, it would go in his favor in my mind, not to his detriment.

We would need to know the date of the "blocking" to be sure, but I am also of the opinion that yelling and accusations can be effectively communicated on a text message. So, something else is needed, imo, to refute MR's allegation that yelling and accusation prompted him to utilize his phone's block feature.
