Dylan wanted a smart phone, but did not have one, had an old flip phone. Was going to get him one for Christmas.

"IS going to get him one for Christmas"

I know. It's awful. Almost as bad as 8 threads and countless posts from folks suspecting a father of murdering his missing child despite facts or evidence.

I suppose that is hunkey dorrie...even though he has not even been called a POI by LE much less a suspect and we are two weeks out now. Never mind that the police have said he has cooperated fully since the beginning.

He texted his Mom at 7:06 as soon as he got off the plane and they went to McDonalds and Walmart and were home by 8:00pm? How is that possible?

Was it said they were home by 8pm? Or that is when the phone ceased activity? Or both?

O.K, I know I"ll get back lashed for this but here goes...ER puts DR on a plane , she really doesn"t want him to go as she has had him all this while and her and ex are not on best of terms. DR gets off the plane and texts mom with a frown face , letting her know he is not happy with being there with dad..JMO but I could see her driving 5 hours there and back to bring him back home..maybe this wasn"t suppose to blow up the way that it did, having people searching and police involved..ER may not be repeating her fears but SHE was the first to talk about DYLAN in past tense.. Im not saying either of them has done anything to/ with him, but I can see where both would have their own reasons for hiding him..all this is JMO

Dylan texted his mother at 7:06 pm Sunday evening so if the mother left her home and drove 5 hours to pick up her son, he would have been gone before daybreak yet the father alleges he saw his son lying on the couch when he left to run errands in the morning. Besides, ER's other son came with her so she can prove where she was before she received a text from MR stating their son was missing.

If the last text Dylan sent was to his mom at 7:06 pm, when did he send the text to his friend stating he would see him on Monday instead of Sunday evening? TIA

Dylan gets up early every morning at this time for school. Mom says he would have gotten up early to see his friends.

I so want to hear from LE. If they needed more help from the public, wouldn't they be speaking out more, as a rule? I just don't know anymore. The cases when LE stays quiet do not, in my recent memory, have the best solve rates.

It raises some questions about the timeline, doesn't it?

We don't know whether he texted her the minute his plane landed, though. Or whether it was en route to dad's house. Unless I need to re-read or re-watch, too much too fast.

Oh no, it wasn't Mark who called her a trouble maker. It was one of the people in here. :)

I was referring to people here too, and I have seen many accusations. MOO

So she is back to using present tense this time? Good.

Why does it matter? I thought it was established that this means very little, overall.

I knew this man like the back of my hand. He had never once abused our children before I left him and he never did after we divorced and I knew he wouldnt. He adored them and still does and they are in their 30s now. His anger was not toward them but against me because I was daring to leave him.

He did ask for their forgiveness though because he had hurt their mother and by doing that he knew he had emotionally hurt them. When they saw that their mother could forgive him.....they forgave him and life became so much better for all of us.

IMO

I understand what you are saying. I had an abusive ex at one time, and thank goodness we didnt have kids. But I know he loved our little doggie and I felt safe letting him 'share custody' because his aggressiveness was towards me not towards our fur baby. But still, he had temper tantrums, made bad choices, and
drank too much too often. So I cannot say I trusted him overall in terms of his decision making skills.

My point is this, MR seemed to have , according to his plentiful court charges,a
hard time making good decisions. He had a lot of charges over the years. So he seems to have been pretty stubborn and volatile. JMO

NG - police are looking a the timeline from the time he landed

If she talked to him at 7:06 how does she know they went to Walmart and MickeyD's. LE must have them on video because she didnt talk to him after 7:06..

Which facts or evidence do you think people are overlooking?

IMO, people have only been looking for the facts, evidence, and statements to try to determine what happened to Dylan.

Forensic pathologist: Finding blood or signs of violence in the vehicles is most important.

I didnt see her as a calculating troublemaker. I think she was trying to avoid giving out too specific info on the poly's because she was proabaly asked not to by LE.

But what she did sday was that people were trying to convince him to take another one. So maybe she does not know if it was inconclusive or if he failed it. Either way, they wanted him back in the chair to try it again. And he seems not to want to, especially since he has a defense attorney now. I doubt he will take another one now.

Moving at lightening speed here.. I was just gonna post that too. GMTA! ;)
