I didn't see NG, just reading the past 20 pages of the last thread and comments about it, but it was mentioned that she sort of skated around the issue of Dad's poly, first saying she didn't know whether he took one, then she didn't know whether he passed or not, then she thought it was inconclusive, and then he was asked, or may be, to take another one. All she would have to do is say "I can't comment on that." Doesn't matter if NG continued to ask her the same question 10 times, she could have said "no comment." Period.
Also, would like to comment on the issue of child abuse. I don't know CO's laws, but here, not putting a seat belt on a child is child neglect, not child abuse. Letting them ride in the back of a pickup is child endangerment. I can't list all the examples of child abuse, but I believe emotional abuse falls under that heading. He could have been verbally abusive, as in cursing the child or calling him ugly names. But if it was actual child abuse, I don't think those charges would be dropped, unless there was no documentation or pictures to prove it.
Just saying.
