oh, oh- I know this one. A lot of times multiple facebook accounts is for games and apps. :) You can trade products with yourself, buy/sell to your advantage, send requests without bugging people, etc.

Yep. I'm guilty of this. I have 2 accounts and they are friends.

But he was originally charged with child abuse and menacing. how does someone get charged with menacing TWICE in their lives? I don't think I know anyone who has ever been charged with that. It seems suspicious , imo.

I looked it up, and it is a verbal threat of harm, how hard would that be for someone who is getting divorced? In a relationship that isn't working out? Not very

I doubt dad has retained a lawyer because the first thing said lawyer would say is to "stop talking to the media," which doesn't appear to be the case.

Mark said he retained a criminal defense attorney. Linked a bunch in last thread.

Hubby still has a flip phone. It's a pain in the neck to text on those things. You have to hit the button you want three times sometimes to get one letter. That's why I got a smart phone. Hubby refuses to text on his flip phone.

Correct me if i am wrong, but I don't think older flip phones have Internet (eg, email, Facebook) access. They aren't considered "smart phones."
I can access the web from my flip phone- the keypad is not set up for this very well- or texting- as someone else said. But not all of them can- depends on model.

Both parties took a polygraph early on in the investigation, Shupe said, but authorities cannot release results.

Ezzell declined to discuss the family dynamics and whether Dylan was disappointed he had to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with his father.

Mark Redwine said he left the house about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 19 to run errands, and that was the last time he saw his son. He returned about 11:30 a.m. to find Dylan gone. In an interview with The Denver Post, Mark Redwine said he returned to find a dirty cereal bowl near the sink, the television was on Nickelodeon, and his son’s fishing pole was missing.

Ezzell declined to comment about the statements.

This just gets curiouser and curiouser... I sure hope something happens soon especially that Dylan is found. This has to be excruciating for his family.

Except it didn't have anything to do with his family, but a neighbor, per latest article:

Mark Redwine was ticketed for child abuse, menacing, trespass, assault and disorderly conduct in 2003 in Adams County. All of the charges were dropped except disorderly conduct, which Mark Redwine pleaded guilty to.

The incident involved an argument between Mark Redwine and his neighbor after the neighbor’s kid broke either Cory or Dylan’s toy truck. The two argued on the neighbor’s property until Mark Redwine left the residence and the neighbor called the police.

From ScoreKeepers link:

Quote:
When contacted Monday, Mark Redwine declined to be interviewed, saying, “At this point, I think I’ve said as much as I need to say.”

He added: “The community’s been great. My problem is my ex-wife. She seems to have all the answers, and she seems to be the one everybody wants to listen to.”

He doesn't want to talk but is upset that everyone listens to his ex-wife?

I know, right? ...I've said all I have to say and I'll say no more. Except my ex is the problem.

I'm not seeing how that's defusing the situation. It's contradictory, for sure.

I think lots of people want to hear from MR. I have plenty of questions for him!

I don't think ER has the answers to the questions I have....

Just to say this there is no other Walmart close to Vallecito, the next closest would be Farmington NM,or if I remember there might be one in Pagosa Springs, and to drive into Farmington or Pagosa would be seriously silly. So it has to be the one in Durango. Bayfield is also South of Vallecito so it would of been alot more of a drive about 30 to 45 min depending on your speed..

not one in pagosa, one is planned but not now.

walmart has many, many security cameras. I am sure LE has been looking at these. LE is just not going to tell what they know. They certainly don't want to mess up the investigation. The simplest way he can prove he was at walmart is a receipt. Can't prove by that dylan was with him.

The McDonalds is up near the silverton/durango train depot. Less than a block off the Main drag. Walmart is several miles south of there.

This one friended the one above and is much newer and still adding friends. THAT is what I think is odd. Someone made a new one for Dylan. That's all I'm saying.

I'm not quite caught up yet, but wanted to comment on the multiple facebook accounts. My best guess is that this is for games. In certain games - Farmville, the Sims, etc., that you play via Facebook, you get bonuses or special perks that help you advance when you friend others. So, create more facebook accounts, friend yourself on the games, and you advance. Easier than asking your friends to help you.

ETA: And now I'm caught up and I see this has been addressed by other posters, of course! :blushing:

But it was coupled with a charge of child abuse too. And he has been charged and arrested with that charge of menacing twice. It does seem kind of 'hard' to get arrested for a verbal threat of harm. How many people do you know that have been arrested and charged with that?

IMO, to get arrested for that, you would have had to be very angry and act out that anger in front of LE, before you would be arrested and charged for that.

eta: I see now his anger was directed at a neighbor and the neighbors kid, over a broken toy truck. Imo, it shows that his anger gets out of control.

That's right, but MR did have a computer with internet access. My daughter and her friends never e-mail each other. It's only text, skype, or facetime. She's lost without her phone.

my my, what a temper. That neighbor must have felt pretty threatened, imo. And all over a toy truck?

I don't think this sentence is phrased correctly:

They have had a protracted divorce with court proceedings occurring in almost monthly since 2005.

maybe "court proceedings occuring almost monthly...." or
"court proceedings occuring in almost every month...."

---> I digress, the takeaway for me there is that's ALOT of court proceedings. No? Is that normal?

All of these charges do seem to contradict the gentle soft spoken man that I saw in an interview posted somewhere in the last thread. :waitasec:

I would be more than happy to hear from MR. I have many questions. Clear the air so to speak.
