Lots of FOCUS on mom and dad and ZERO focus on FINDING Dylan.

Does anyone know how many SAR personal are on the ground today?

Dylan is out there waiting to be found, in spirit or in life!

I was thinking about this today-it depresses me just how vast the area is surrounding his Dad's house. He could be anywhere or hidden in places no one would ever find :(

Just checking to see if there's any more news about Dylan.....
I still feel that something happened when his phone shut off and he (Dylan) stopped communicating with the world. Also looks odd that he didn't try to use the landline from dad's house. That's probably been discussed to death, though.

*fingers crossed* Hope you come home, Dylan !

Nevermind.

You could be talking about my 13 year old son. I used to think girls were the mouthy ones.

It must be normal for that age, my ex recently told me our 12 son was a real smart a$$ and in almost accusatory tone.

Regarding smart mouths coming with this age-

Another area where understanding Dylan's norms would be helpful. My kids have yet to go through a mouthy phase. Not all teens look like the teenage stereotype. And I do believe it is a stereotype.

Edited to Clarify:
In a class of about 30 children, there are usually about 5 who are smart-mouthed. 10 if you're being generous. That's still 1/3 of the population. Our quiet kids who keep to the rules just don't get as much attention as the loud ones. I was a loud one, fwiw. I know it's real.

Stereotypes don't mean "false" they simply mean an entire category of people is judged on the basis of a perceived majority.

I caught up!!! It only took me two days!:great:

Lots of talking and circles and whatnot, but I suppose that's to be expected. For the WS record, I'm :fence: I do, however, think we can all agree on one thing: We want Dylan home. :moo:

They never tell people how they or anyone else did on a test. NEVER!

I think we need to put this one particular issue to bed. I just went on line and found a source that I think is reliable (the official website of the Evansville Police Department).

This is what they said about polygraphs:

"Who gets the test results?
Polygraph results are confidential. A polygraph examiner will only release the results of the exam to the examinee and to the police detective or prosecutor who requested the examination. Upon the discretion of the lead detective, the results may be released to the Prosecutor’s Office. Polygraph results are not released to employers. If the exam is regarding a police pre-employment situation, the results are only released to the examinee, the EPD Police Personnel Unit and the Police Merit Commission."

So it does indeed appear that the "examinee" receives the results of the polygraph.

I'm not picking on anyone, but this keeps going back and forth, and I think it's probably good to use a police source, rather than opinions, or one's own personal experience.

Bottom line: You can and do get the results of your polygraph.

Thanks.

I bought 6 boxes of candy canes because I couldn't decide which ones sounded best so I have extras for all the WS trees.

After working in a middle school for many years, I don't think it is a stereotype.
I saw many many mouthy kids and talked to a whole lot of parents who experienced the same thing.

Certainly, not ALL 13 yr olds get bratty or back talk to their parents when they get upset. But many do at times. It is a regular feature of adolescent behavior, and not a phony stereotype, imo.

Both my kids are young adults now, and neither of them are impolite or rude in any way now. I think it was just a phase. jmo

I think you misread my post. The post I was responding to said mom had told a producer dad failed. I asked if it was indeed confirmed mom had said that to a producer.

And LE did confirm both mom and dad took LDTs last night.

Moo

What questions would the polygrapher ask both parents besides
1. When did you last see Dylan, and
2. Do you know where he is now?

Wow, way behind....anything new?

I am finding the same thing.

I'd like to add to your bottom line, though, that I'm reading again and again that they are confidential. They will not be released to anyone else, either.

IOW, it seems like it would be unlikely for LE to give ER MR's results because they are confidential.

<modsnip>. ER doesn't likely have a reliable way to know if he passed, was asked to come back, or if they were inconclusive. So we don't know anything more about polygraph than we did before the NG show IMO.

Well what disturbs me the most in this case is that apparently three separate HRD dogs hit on the lake and it also appears that only one small dive team spent minimal time in an on only one area of the lake where the dogs supposedly alerted.

Considering this rather large lake has to be passed on the only road in and out of the area in which Dylan apparently went missing, and HRD dogs have hit on it, I'd think there would be much more focus on it.

Can you think of any reason why there wouldn't be?

I have a 17yo with the flu and a 12yo with a stomach virus and pink eye. I'm going nuts. Will somebody please take pity on me and catch me up. I swear I'm ready to post my cell number for all to see so that maybe somebody will text me updates.

It's costly and slow and they are hoping his body might surface if he's in there.. If he's deep, I don't believe he's coming up ..

Can we add cell phone usage to that list as well? :please:

Nothing new. Just keep running around the same mountain, paddling around the same pond, beatin' that same dead horse .....

Nothing at all new from LE, not in a very long while, it seems.

Mostly talk about polygraphs, Nancy Grace show, etc. today.
