Azgrandma -

I read your post last night detailing the abuse you suffered. I am so sorry you lived that nightmare. I don't usually share my personal info, but I cried and could relate to the violence you suffered while pregnant. My mother experienced similar violence while I was in her womb. I admire you for getting yourself and children out of the situation. I know it was not an easy thing to do nor was it free of fear. The fear can be overwhelmingly powerful causing the abused to stay in the relationship for fear of their life and the lives of their children. I lived the violence as a child and we made it out. I am so glad your family made it safe. I'm so glad you and your children now live in a healthy environment. You took the reigns from MR and I hope you're proud of yourself! Your children have an amazing mother! I also have an amazing mother!

 Lots of hugs to your family and Dylan's family

I do believe that people will have a great understanding of MR once this is done. That being from his own mouth and his own actions.

You're not kidding, Azgrandma. Wow.

ETA: I'm sorry for what you must have gone through. ((((hugs azgrandma))))

I have been following this thread and never posted. I've been keeping an open mind in this case but after watching literally 5 minutes of this episode I feel like the father has hidden Dylan. Something in me doesn't believe Dylan is dead. I really think the father has someone helping him hide Dylan to punish Elaine..

Both ER and MR on stage w/Dr. Phil:
  • ER took Poly and passed
  • ER says MR's inconclusive; MR says he took it, confusion as to what results are from law enforcement. MR laughed and said "I don't really want to tell you that" [yes, laughing while he said this!]
  • MR says ER results not confirmed to him and his not confirmed to her, "sore spot" with him
[*]ER asks MR directly "Did you hurt him?" and [my note: OMG!!!]MR's reply "what kind of mother are you to even think I was capable or doing something like that?"
  • MR says LE told him he failed the poly, then that it was inconclusive and questioning whether the polygraph person was qualified
  • MR totally left the door open for Dr. Phil on that one - Dr. Phil talks about how that's unfair to MR if they didn't have a qualified person, "offers" to have his highly qualified people do a new poly "to clear your name"
  • Dr. Phil "Are we done?" and says no because lots of questions in our minds and his mind - so many unanswered questions. Wants to know why people are doing what they're doing, and why people aren't doing what they're not doing [you might have to hear this for it to make sense]

That's all for today... continues tomorrow. I thought it was heated today, looks like tomorrow it really heats up!

red by me

I've been schooled that when someone answers a question with a question, that's a red flag. Just sayin'.

OMG!!!

So I am going to watch the liar, Jodi Arias all day---then switch it over to watch Mark Redwine? I think I'd better open a bottle of Chardonnay and put it on ice for later.

I am finding it strange that LE has never pointed how far it was to "T"'s house and how unlikely it was Dylan walked .

JMO They don't want to tip him off but I bet 1,000,000 dollars that they know a lot!

Amen to that. I'm starting to understand why it might be a good idea to watch this one with a drink and a friend.

"We picked him up." Two possible explanations. One, there is some unknown person present. Or, two, if you believe the speech analysis thing, when people use we when I would be correct, it's an indication they are trying to avoid or share responsibility. All MOO

The clips posted on www.drphil.com are fairly interesting. Without even watching the show, one of those clips has MR saying LE told him he failed his polygraph. That seems newsworthy.

I just watched the clip.. MR said he was first told he failed and LE came back and said it was inconclusive.. Also per MB poly was inconclusive.. So MR has not failed.

  • #111
So failing the poly was the examiner's fault

what a great seguay for Dr Phil to offer him another....

Yeah that was smooth on Dr. Phil's part! He just wants to help MR...

Not only answering a question with a question, but putting it back on her. i.e. She's a horrible mother for even thinking he harmed Dylan.

Azgrandma do you know anything about Mark picking Dylan up with somebody else in the car or is it just the way Mark talks do you know ?

  • #114
I just watched the clip.. MR said he was first told he failed and LE came back and said it was inconclusive.. Alos per MB poly was inconclusive.. So MR has not failed.

Didn't MB say it was inconclusive because that is what MR told her? AFAIK, LE has only confirmed that tests were administered. All MOO

I found LE's statement to the DP show interesting. I thought for ten days they considered Dylan a runaway, maybe not?

Sheriff's Department Statement

The La Plata County Sheriff's Department has issued the following statement regarding the investigation into Dylan's disappearance:

“The investigation for locating Dylan Redwine is still open, ongoing, and active. We’ve even had investigators from out of state, this week, following up on tips. The frustrating part is that we are not much farther along than where we were early on in the investigation, because of the total lack of clues left behind. It has been a criminal investigation from the first evening Dylan was reported missing. Within the first few days, we were working closely with the FBI and within the first week, we assembled a task force comprised of local, state and federal agencies. This task force is still currently in place and pursuing the investigation. We have not identified anyone as a person of interest or as a suspect during the entire investigation.”

I just fell off the fence reading the spoilers. A real "Ah hah" moment. Can't wait to watch when I get home from work this evening.

Great job!!

What is this about the mail carrier seeing Dylan walking? Wasn't that eventually figured out as NOT being Dylan, but being a similar looking local kid?

Again, he turns it back on Elaine. Can't he answer a freaking question without deflecting it over to her? Did you hurt him? It's a yes or no question!
