Could be. I think they did find something that proved he was dead, and that’s what supported the tampering charge.

Say they found Gannon’s DNA or hair in the rental car, that would do it.
Or cadaver dogs alerting to them to a scent.

100% agree

What a strong lady.

Yes, she stood up and kept it together in Gannon's honor. Her words were so sincere and heartbreaking.

I feel like they've had enough to arrest her for a long time, but they were hoping to have the body in hand before doing so. Maybe they worried when she went to SC that she'd be able to flee the country, i.e. by boat.

Jeez, that lady's a loon. It's a good thing she went to so much trouble to conceal his body -- that proves she could differentiate between right and wrong. No insanity defense there.

I was going to bring that up. It seems to be there was evidence in the house but he wasn't murdered there. He walked out. Unless we were misled with that video. I agree with whatever they have being found in the truck, and the car comes into place with the tampering charges.

For those of you questioning "why" Al and Landen did not recognize any symptoms of previous abuse. I am a nurse and have seen so many cases of child abuse that had gone unrecognized even by medical professionals. Not all abuse leaves obvious signs of trauma. Often abusers are really good at hiding their abuse. They usually use manipulation to keep the children from telling anyone. They tell the kids that if they tell something terrible will happen to their parents, their siblings, their favorite toys etc. This is why we see so many cases where the abuse went on for years before anyone knew. We are omnipotent to our children, they trust everything we say and do. Especially when a parental figure threatens to do something to punish them if they tell.

I don't believe that Al or Landen believed Tee was abusing their children. I think if they even had a single clue that the children were in harms way they would have done something to stop it. So we really shouldn't question their parenting perceptions at this time. They have a child to mourn and that is all they should be worrying about right now.

Unfortunately, psychopaths are part of our society and they are good at what they do, practiced in the art of blending in just like a chameleon.

Agreed.
I was thinking the best that LE would be able to come up with would be manslaughter or 2nd degree.

Nope. It's 1st degree premeditation because of Gannon's age, under 12 yrs

Watching that press conference has left me feeling like I have been punched in the heart.

It's a valid point though.

If there was so much blood, why did it take so long for an arrest?

And, people were coming and going.

Did Gannon come back at 2pm that day or did he go missing after 10am?

If he went missing after 10am then the blood was from abuse the night before, so . . . . . Why didn't the father notice all this blood?

Surely a saucer of blood in Gannons room, blood on tools and in the garage was enough to arrest T at the beginning.

This is confusing.

I'm glad I'm not the police.

Poor Gannon, this is dreadful.
They were waiting/baiting /hoping she would crack....lead them to the body.

Did anyone see any wood in the bed of the truck on RD's videos?

  • #791
Paper is made out of wood, and paper is light. Therefore, all wood is light.

I hate driving down the road and having to constantly dodge wooden 2x4’s.

The bloody ones are the worst.
It's even worse when you are hiking in the woods. Bloody socks and boards come flying off the trucks and get blown right into the woods far off the road. Have to wear a helmet most days.

Maybe the carpet was cleaned up but found underneath, underpadding/floorboards
Maybe they found the carpet she removed. You know, from the RED candle that Gannon tipped over.

Concrete is porous, so it's going to light up under luminol and a blue light, that's probably what they found.

Thank you for your post. I was trying to explain this to some posters inferring the parents should've known or recognized the abuse. Not even

I guess we know why she had to pre-splain about Gannon cutting his foot because Al has tools because he likes to do woodworking because she likes flowerpots.

She knew they had or were going to find a bloody sock.

I'm still curious about the role the gate key plays in all of this.

I think something really horrible was happening to this precious boy. Look at the difference in the photos of him. I don't know the timeline of them but my hunch is worry and stress were getting to him. He probably did want to run away, precious one.

I agree, the sparkle in his eyes is gone in that second picture IMO, I'm so sorry to think that Gannon suffered quite a bit from TS's rage and dissatisfaction with her life.

Stauch added that her husband told her that Gannon’s sock and a bloody 2×4 board were found in the woods near Douglas County.

Stauch explained that her family frequently loaded up boards they didn’t need from their garage into the pickup truck, leftovers from her husband’s woodworking hobby. She claimed that there had been several accidents in the garage, which could have easily accounted for a bloodied board.

When asked how the board would have ended up in the woods, Stauch said that things have flown out of the back of the truck before while she was driving. She said the same thing could have happened to the board or Gannon’s sock.

When questioned whether law enforcement specifically told her about the wood or a sock, Stauch said, “LE [law enforcement] have not said one word to me, have not called me.” Gannon Stauch: Stepmom says bloody board was not her fault. She’s now facing child abuse, murder charges [EXCLUSIVE PART 3]

Goodness knows what she did with that board. It is amazing how she just thinks someone would buy the story that Gannon goes missing and coincidentally a board with his blood AND a bloody sock bounced out of the truck and into the woods. She is unbelievable.

I’ve been here forever myself. This is my 2nd registration and it’s from 2013. My jaw is on the floor that anyone would post with what appears to be glee regarding what she might have done to little Gannon. Maybe this isn’t the place for me anymore if you and others find this “normal” behavior.

What Glee are you talking about ? LK is very kindhearted and has great informative posts! I think you took this wrong!
Fortunately I have a very relaxed workplace and my boss wasn't even there today. I am able to work at home tomorrow and another day this week as well.
I knew I'd be a wreck when things started to happen and just planned to very honestly say that someone I cared very much about died.
I will never forget the day I left work crying my eyes out when the FBI said Brittanee had been fed to alligators , and if I don't zip it I will be crying again. :(

Crime Scene
Within days of Gannon’s disappearance, an El Paso County Crime Scene team arrived at his home to collect evidence. They returned several times and were spotted removing items from the residence and carrying items inside.

Stauch said she didn’t understand how authorities could call the home a crime scene after they saw Gannon leaving with her on January 27.

“How the hell is the house a crime scene if he left and didn’t come back with me supposedly? They are saying there is a crime scene with all this blood in the house, which they let people live in during the supposed crime scene for 7 plus days….but then a video shows him leaving with me walking.”

Stauch was referring to security footage captured by a neighbor, which reportedly showed her leaving at around 10:18 a.m. on January 27 with Gannon, and returning home a little after 2 p.m. without him.

Stauch claimed her husband told her about blood found in the home. She denied hurting Gannon and claimed that he would get repetitive nosebleeds that required frequent cleanups.

Stauch said Gannon also cut his foot in the garage a few days before he vanished.

“There are tools, wood, and woodworking in the garage, jointers and saws. If there was blood in the garage, it was from doing activities,” Stauch said.

Al Stauch allegedly called his wife and asked her why a “saucer-sized puddle of blood” was found inside Gannon’s room, according to what Tecia Stauch told CrimeOnline.

“He was taken around and shown different places of blood inside the house. There was some in the garage. But there are accidents all the time, nose bleeds. Gannon walked around sometimes with blood on his arm from nose bleeds.”

Bloody Board and Sock
Stauch added that her husband told her that Gannon’s sock and a bloody 2×4 board were found in the woods near Douglas County.

Stauch explained that her family frequently loaded up boards they didn’t need from their garage into the pickup truck, leftovers from her husband’s woodworking hobby. She claimed that there had been several accidents in the garage, which could have easily accounted for a bloodied board.

TRIGGER WARNING: Don’t read if speculation regarding details is too much to read.

It will be extremely important when we learn if more than just blood is found on the board, sock, any of the other evidence, i.e. tissue, hair, etc...

LS may be able to try and say drops of blood came from a bloody nose, or a cut foot-you cannot explain away other those things.

On another note, I had persistent nose bleeds as a child. A drop here and there, maybe, would end up on the counter or floor-but not saucer-sized pools of blood in the carpet of my bedroom.

These explanations, including bloody boards and socks flying out of her truck and into the woods, are just ludicrous.

Next, she wants to turn it around and argue that the house couldn’t be a crime scene, saying it’s not possible because he left with her walking and didn’t return? She cannot have it all ways.

Obviously there are two crime scenes, one where the abuse occurred and one where she murdered him.

This is so much worse than anything I had imagined before today. I tried to imagine only scenarios that meant Gannon didn’t suffer too much or too long. I gave LS way more credit than she ever deserved.
