I think her exact words were "one of his electronics". IMO, yes, his switch.

Am i the only one that finds it weird the way she phrases some things?

"one of his electronics"

"Wood working activities" in the garage

There's been a few other's i can't recall off the top of my head but the more i hear the more it just sounds odd. Maybe its just me and that's how people speak from there.

I haven't totally ruled out that the Switch went with them that morning, but I don't fully buy it. LS says Gannon dropped "one of his electronics," but go back and watch how the item drops and how LS picks it up & chucks it in the car. Maybe she didn't give a flying fig about his Switch, but those things are $200-300 depending on which one GS had. The way the item dropped & the manner in which she chucked it, I lean toward it being an icepack or cloth to catch blood. Besides if it was missing AS would notice and I'm sure it would've come up at some point early on, like the flyer she made would've mentioned not having his phone or bank cards  but he took his Switch. Too much of a red flag. JMO MOO

I missed it too Warwick, (Love your screen name by the way) are you in England? I think we need a link to confirm his Switch is missing!
There is a Nintendo expert on the witness list.

Regarding the Nintendo Switch. Even though it's a mobile gaming system, you have to be connected a hotspot for it to access online gaming outside of the home. It also doesn't have GPS tracking other than connecting to public hotspots. Otherwise if Gannon played it while out and about he would merely just be playing a game himself & not on the network if not near a hotspot or other wireless. Not leaning toward this because IMO he wasn't in any condition to play a video game that morning. And what purpose would TS have in taking it along? Remember her original story was Gannon ran away, without his phone.

I think it's more likely that he played it in the house online "remotely" with friends other times in the home and they witness that they heard or saw something regarding abuse. When my kids play I can also hear their friend on the other end, so it's possible another parent may have heard something. Maybe it had a Tile attached to it and LS chucked it out along her travels. Calling a Nintendo expert as a witness leads me to believe that they want to access Gannon's gaming account. He may have had a Playstation that he played games on at home & that leads to a ton of possibilities because he could've used it for messaging friends or maybe one of them/parent heard something while playing online with him. They would need access to his Nintendo account for this.

I love the idea of G’s switch being the key to all of her riddles.

@MsBetsy Oh she is exposed alright and not liking it one bit! I had a fleeting thought (during the hearing), that she trying to appeal to AS's sympathy. I know its a stretch, but I put nothing past her.
JMHO

Justice for Gannon!
I've thought that too. She said something about AS having to go through his emotions (not a quote) and I wondered if she felt like he'd just get over the loss of his ONLY SON and then things would be great between them, as SHE is so great, the hero who holds their family together, blah blah.

As to the bolded portion : "Didn't see RD, but maybe he doesn't qualify since he didn't witness anything, just provided material. Or, does another neighbor have better material?"

I think he will have to take the witness stand if the prosecutor shows any of his videos. They cannot show them unless RD takes the stand to explain how and when he recorded the footage. JMO IMO
Yes he will be a witness, didn’t he say that TS wasn’t interested in looking at the videos because “ Gannon went the other way”

I would think his video speaks for him. Why would they ask him to interpret it?
He wouldn't be asked to interpret it. However I am almost certain he would be required to take the stand to introduce it. He would be needed to explain it's very existence---how, when and why it was recorded, etc.

And he would haves to be cross examined by the defense, as to the veracity of the video itself.

JMO, IMO

... and she might have tormented him by thinking it was being sold, or she threw it out the window. TS exalted herself as "punisher".

Something that's occurred to me over the past couple of days.....I think we're going to find out that LS was much more evil & horrible than we've been expecting AND much dumber in her cover-up of Gannon's murder and what lead to it than we've been giving her credit for!

There is also another neighbor on the list...I guess I can say that ?

I don't recall RD saying that.
Eta I thought TS went to SC right after the field interview which was even before RD re-examined the videos.

You'd think they would have ways of verifying those videos without calling each neighbor to the stand. (?)
But the jury will need to see the verification for themselves. And the defense will want to cross examine anyone who made the recordings, etc. JMO

But that doesn't mean: missing switch. Right?

Or am I missing something.
It’s an assumption because the switch is a NIntendo product.

  • #1,178
I don't recall RD saying that.
It’s in a news reporting. Also the other neighbor was quoted in a news report. I’ll have to go find then if needed as reference.

Is there a Comcast expert on the witness list? And are the videos stored on their server or a recording device? Chain of custody is very important for admissibility. The expert verifies the authenticity of the evidence.

AFAIK

Justice for Gannon!

I couldn't watch the whole hearing, nor could I even hear most of it. Could someone share whether they brought up the attack on the deputy?
MOO no arrest was made in KS after their stop and ER visit. Afterwards when appeatong briefly in CO court on arrival, LS was in a suicide suit. MOO have no information on an attack on deputy, MOO what I have seen points to a suicide attempt.
Have you seen more info?
