@lonetraveler , I do not think putting the DP on the table will do a bit of good. Her attorneys will just tell her that the governor will commute the sentence.

I think the prosecutor made it clear in his news conference that the district attorneys answer directly to the attorney general, who answers directly to the governor, who campaigned hard to eliminate the DP. It is highly unlikely that the direct employees of the governor are going to pursue an outcome that he abhors. JMO

I missed it too Warwick, (Love your screen name by the way) are you in England? I think we need a link to confirm his Switch is missing!
Thanks for thinking like me about the switch. It's getting confusing.

No not in England.
However, Warwick in Orange County holds a special place for me. Also, it too was named after Warwick in England.

Tile inc (small bluetooth location trackers usually put on keys or devices)
This thread is moving so fast someone may have already noticed this - BUT - could it be that it wasn't the apple watch that showed SM's location on her Monday odyssey? Could it be a "tile"?

From Tile's website:

Tile is an American consumer electronics company which produces devices to help users find their belongings, such as keys and backpacks, which use Bluetooth 4.0. The devices work with a companion mobile app for Android and iOS, which allows users to locate lost items through Bluetooth or where they were last seen.

ETA - From Amazon's description:
  • Tile is a tiny Bluetooth tracker and easy to use app that finds your phone, keys, and anything you don't want to lose in seconds.
  • Attach a tile to an item and locate it by sound, by seeing its last known location on a map, or by marking it as lost and getting an alert when it's found.
Looking into the range of tiles or other details re. tracking.

It’s in a news reporting. Also the other neighbor was quoted in a news report. I’ll have to go find then if needed as reference.
I don't know what the other neighbor said, but I think I've read all of RDs interviews, I don't recall him mentioning speaking with TS at all. Doesn't mean you are wrong, but I sure don't remember that.

Ok I need to ask again... missing switch?

What did I not catch in that doc dump?
“Technology” I believe is the word she used. Look back a few pages, a member quotes her exact statement.

A link would be great.

All I recall is TS saying something like that. It made zero sense (as have other statements from her.) When and why would RD ask her if she wanted to review his video? Why wouldn't he just do it? It's not as though he didn't know what GS looked like. And when would he have done that? Monday night after LE arrived? Tues when TS was off renting a car? TS wasn't at the home much after that...

I haven't totally ruled out that the Switch went with them that morning, but I don't fully buy it. LS says Gannon dropped "one of his electronics," but go back and watch how the item drops and how LS picks it up & chucks it in the car. Maybe she didn't give a flying fig about his Switch, but those things are $200-300 depending on which one GS had. The way the item dropped & the manner in which she chucked it, I lean toward it being an icepack or cloth to catch blood. Besides if it was missing AS would notice and I'm sure it would've come up at some point early on, like the flyer she made would've mentioned not having his phone or bank cards  but he took his Switch. Too much of a red flag. JMO MOO
I feel it was the Switch. You are right she, at that point, didn't give a flying rip about it or GS.

As a matter of fact, by tossing it like she did would bother GS.

One more JAB by LS!!!!!!!

On the late model vehicles you cannot get another key made. Each key has a code on it and you have to contact the dealer and the new keys are pricey.

She may have tossed it and then contacted the rental agency and they may have sent a locksmith with the code somehow and charged her. But even then, how would she have contacted the rental agency if she tossed the key when she had no cell phone?

I know about this because we have two newer vehicles.

Technology tracks your every movement. A murderer may be able to dispose of a body but they likely won’t get away with the murder in the long run. More and more often, no body cases are getting convictions.

BBM

Locksmiths carry electronic key fob replacements for many popular makes/models of cars and can electronically reprogram them to work with your car if you loose your fob/transponder. I'm sure they need proof of ownership and the code info (from the dealership or from another spare) but getting a new one through them is cheaper and faster than through a dealership. I don't have personal experience, but have several friends who've done it this way.

ETA: Locksmiths can definitely program & provide a new key fob/transponder. This is not the one mentioned in witness list, but see the drop down box at the bottom of the page for explanation!

I'm just catching onto Tiles. I had looked into them on Amazon, but that's as far as it went.

If this is a Tile situation and she never caught on or only caught on after the fact--she's sunk!!!!

It was said by Leigh Egan during the Nancy Grace podcast a couple of days ago. RD told Leigh. Maybe Leigh is lurking about and can firm?

... and she might have tormented him by thinking it was being sold, or she threw it out the window. TS exalted herself as "punisher".
This post nailed TS's personality!!!

I'm going through the list of FBI witnesses to see if any of them have special areas of expertise.

One of the agents out of DC appears to be with the Behavioral Analysis Unit, and has focused on crimes against children.

One of the Denver agents is a Child Forensic Interviewer.

Still going through the list.

Edit: at least two Child Forensic Interviewers, actually.
I bet they spent a lot of time with Gannon's little sister and also his friends.

Kids sometimes tell friends things they don't tell their parents. Also there might be someone who was a witness to the way TS treated Gannon. Imo

She’d need a credit card and I believe her accounts were frozen. I’ll go back and see if rental company is S.C. called to witness.
BBM-Probably why she had the GREEN DOT pre-paid card, if she did in fact have one. JMO
GreenDot is on the "Witness list"
