Gannon...stepthing?!... perfect!
But as a suthuner, We would say it like this:
stepthang, rhymes w/ swampthang...my poor auto text keeps trying, but I persist...stepthang, love it!
Woah, and how about this?
Attorney for #LeteciaStauch say masks covering people’s faces in court stops them from seeing important facial reactions, and therefore they can’t go to court while that safety precaution is in place.
Which could be like, several months. Maybe more.

Perhaps they should just put up a clear plexiglass shield around the witness box. It could easily be disinfected regularly.Woah, and how about this?

Many similarities, and I believe she was in that area at the time.
Locklear
A rape by 2 men was claimed
Hired the men/promised them money from insurance
Lies.
Stepson AND husband murdered
Makes me wonder if AS dodged a bullet as well. And yes, she does resemble the photo in article.
Seeing her talk about the "safety" of a home hits harder than any of the other bs she's come up with so far. Gannon should have felt safe in his home, she's the reason he'll never see a 12th birthday. Get used to your cell, LS.

You are too funny, Runswithscissorz! Was there a container of straws dropped? Because there’s sure a lot of grasping going on.
Daggers are shot by eyes, and since that will likely be the majority of expression going on, I think the rest of the face is safe being covered.

I am surprised her attorneys have a problem with hiding facial expressions... I would think that would help their case if LS' facial expressions are not visible.![]()
Hold off your preliminary hearing countdown. LS's defense has filed a motion for continuation/postponing the hearing. Apparently they haven't been able to properly counsel with her or interview witnesses because of CoVid restrictions. They're saying they've been denied video & phone access to her. She's asking to be released on bond saying that they can counsel her from "the safety of her home!" Is she serious??!! And while we're at it....what home?? I know the bond will be denied, but I also hope they stick to the original dates for the hearing!

Wonder how that witness was able to "go on record" with her defense as LS claimed in her interview last week?
This request by LS by her defense was filed last Tues 5/12. I believe her phone interview with Crime Online was Wed 5/13. She's still spinning her web of lies!
Another motion and a register of actions were filed in addition to the one that MtnMama linked:

Thanks for the news and the links! IMO the motion to delay will be granted but I doubt LS will be given bond due to Covid-19 issues. Colorado has begun the opening up phase so I don't see a convincing argument to allow her to post bond. MOO.
We are not doing live hearings yet - but the plexiglass solution is a wonderful one.JMO
I agree there is no way she will be getting out on bond.
Courts across the country are dealing with the same COVID concerns and they just need to come up with common sense practical solutions. Releasing convicted prisoners or letting someone out on bond should not even be considered IMO.
If my local cigarette store can install a plexiglass shield in front of customers, then surely our court systems can arrange a solution that works for everyone without having to give someone a free ticket out of jail.

I have to totally agree with the defense about this. The prosecution probably agrees too because a large percentage of communication is nonverbal communication.
Different studies have come up with different percentages. Most studies I have seen conclude that a significant part of communication is nonverbal.
So both the Defense and Prosecution probably would not want masks on anyone testifying because it would limit how the message comes across to the jurors.
Here is just one article of many on the subject.
"Albert Mehrabian, a pioneer researcher of body language in the 1950's, found that the total impact of a message is about 7 percent verbal (words only) and 38 percent vocal (including tone of voice, inflection, and other sounds) and 55 percent nonverbal."
