Failure to appear

Couple new(ish?) things on the jail page. It says hold for mug and prints. And she has two more warrants now for failure to appear!

Interesting! Wonder what the “ hold for mug and prints” is about.

I remember at the last hearing on September 15 she kept the Court waiting for over an hour, then an EPCSO Deputy came to the Defense table and informed her lawyers that they had to “use Plan B to get her on the van for transport”. The Deputy mentioned a warrant also.

Thanks @Cindizzi for posting these pics and reminder of Gannon's birthday. HE is what this case is all about, an innocent, sweet young boy who was brutally taken from this world by someone who should have loved and nurtured him.

But as usual, it's all about LS all the time, with her theatrics and attention seeking behavior. She will never do the right thing and accept her punishment for Gannon's death and give him the justice and dignity he so highly deserves.

She makes me physically ill just typing her initials or seeing her picture. Grrrrrrrrrr!

9/15/22 Update: A new evaluation by an out-of-state doctor was requested by the defense at the hearing; the defense also requested to have Stauch remain at CMHIP while the new evaluation is being conducted. Stauch appeared in court to discuss the defense's request for a second sanity evaluation. Judge Gregory Werner discussed a request from the defense for more mental health tests & where these tests will be conducted. The judge said he wanted to better understand how the tests work & what the defense is hoping to achieve with the additional tests. The judge also said he wants to make sure all security concerns are dealt with. An evidentiary hearing to address those concerns was set for 10/13/22 @ 1:30pm. The judge also warned Stauch about her tardiness following a nearly hour-long delay & reminded her that he can order deputies to use reasonable force if necessary to ensure her appearance at courtroom hearings. Stauch allegedly caused some sort of disturbance that led to the hearing being delayed. And a review hearing re escape attempt on 10/13/22 also.
9/14/22 Update: Motion for 2nd sanity examination to be conducted at CMHIP in Pueblo (D-47) filed on 9/12/22. Link here:
https://www.courts.state.co.us/user...l_District/El_Paso/Stauch/20CR1358 - D-47.pdf
on page 2 from above - The defense has retained Dr. Dorothy Lewis to perform the 2nd sanity evaluation. Dr. Lewis is a former Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University.

9/22/22 Update: Stauch is now claiming her rights have been violated in a civil lawsuit filed in federal court. The lawsuit names two El Paso County Sheriff's jail guards (L. Stengle & R. Snipe), a food service provider (Trinity Food Services) & medical service (WellPath) in the jail. Stauch says her 1st Amendment rights were violated when she experienced problems with her pre-approved kosher foods in jail. She claims meals were "not wrapped appropriately" & that non-kosher items were placed in her diet. According to the lawsuit filed on September 22, Stauch says she attempted to alert multiple jail deputies of this since August 2021. She claims no steps were taken to fix the supposed contamination of the kosher foods. Stauch's second claim is that her 8th Amendment rights were violated by the jail's medical provider. According to the lawsuit, Stauch says the medication that was given to her to treat stomach issues & constipation was not working in November 2021. Stauch claims she has suffered from a "leaky gut & abdominal pain." In addition to that, she says has blood in her stool seven or more days a month. The lawsuit says she requested to be checked by a doctor for multiple months in early 2022. Doctor visits, she claims, never happened. The civil suit will call into question her defense team's insanity argument. 9/23/22 Update: Order: Granting leave to Proceed by Magistrate Judge Gordon P. Gallagher.

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The District Court of El Paso County will hold a hearing Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 13., to potentially set a trial date for Letecia Stauch, the stepmother accused of killing 11-year-old Gannon Stauch.

Judge Gregory Werner is expected to further discuss the results of Stauch’s mental health evaluations conducted over the past few months since her trial date was delayed numerous times.

Stauch’s defense attorney, Josh Tolini, challenged Colorado’s sanity examination and requested more mental health tests during multiple hearings, further delaying a decision on her trial date.

Any updates on today's court proceedings?

I'm still not getting regular notifications for Gannon's case so once again thank you all for the updates! Hugs!

So... Leticia's pissed over not getting her Kosher food? Has she also demanded to be taken to the Mikvah after her periods? Meh, I see this as yet another ploy on her part for what IMO I believe she thinks is some brilliant defense strategy. I can only wonder what her defense team is dealing with, lol!

IMO Leticia's gonna paint herself right into LWOP or worse with her self-aggrandizing shenanigans. The faster the better if you ask me. If she has DID then I'm Lucky the leprechaun. MOO.
