Interesting. According to this court document, the EPSO estimated that FOUR deputies would need to be present with LS at all times if she were to be transferred to the state hospital for the requested 72 hour EEG.

ETA: correction, if she were transferred to a hospital other than the state hospital. That makes sense.

In January it will be three years of torture for this family, for the community that embraced sweet Gannon, for the world that adopted Sonic The Hedgehog as the symbol of the love that was and the love that was lost by all! May this case, this person, be finally sent away so the family can breathe a sigh of relief, their pain may never be over but may their beloved Gannon finally be able to Rest In Peace with justice served! To be honest, I’d, as a grieving parent, rather watch her quake in her space, never knowing peace. She, once found guilty can begin the process of acceptance. Right now, guilty beyond a courts justice works just fine.

Even if they get what they want, she is never going to be out of prison. She is not insane. She can try as she might to get any advantage. But, in the end, she killed him and with the evidence that is available she is going to be convicted.

I hope this family pays her no mind. She is not worth their thoughts.

My prediction is she will continue jerking the judge around (he seems quite content to cater to her every whim) and torturing the family until she eventually pleads guilty.
How many chances does she get on the sanity question? Until she gets the result she wants?

Its likely that the reason the judge is letting her continue to file so many motions and drag her feet is to ensure that she exhausts every option so she doesn't have a chance of having her sentence overturned for any reasons later on.

I also hope his little sister is thriving ! I can’t believe he would be 14! Time flies but justice still has not been served! How can that be ? This family deserves closure and the courts should finally grant that. How long can this go on? I am so sorry for the torture this family has been through! I am truly sorry for their ongoing horror!

Take comfort that she can't hurt any more children and that she is locked up. I haven't heard anyone express doubt (here or elsewhere) that she killed Gannon. The crime that she committed was so much worse than I thought it would be. Trust that she will not regain her freedom anytime at all soon. JMO.
