Bumping MSM from 3/2021 where LS wrote a letter to Judge Werner in Feb-- stating she did not agree with the NGRI defense, and this was being used by her attorneys to get a hearing to cover up their incompetence and why she now wanted to represent herself -- "I am innocent."

I hope she's worn out by now and sits quietly at her trial like a bump on a log.
We can only hope for the bump on the log from LS though she may use that as well to completely remove herself mentally from the trial and just look dazed and confused then reply to questions that have no relevance to the questions asked. We have a good base line on her train of thought as she took any direct threat to her theories with anger along with the lies that never held an ounce of truth. We will see how she handles questions from the State and how long it takes to draw the demon out.

I have no expectation of LS testifying here -- and especially not in her orange jail suit!

Agreed and watched how that played out in AM's not so Oscar winning performance on the stand.

Unrelated to her case but just saw this,

Gibson’s arrest papers also mention Letecia Stauch’s name. Stauch has been held in the El Paso County jail since 2020, and her own case has gained a lot of attention in which she’s accused of killing her stepson. In Gibson’s arrest papers, Stauch is mentioned as having briefly interacted with other inmates, who were allegedly tied to Gibson and the fentanyl death of inmate Renee Lowrence. To be clear, Stauch is not facing any charges in Lowrence’s death-- her name is simply mentioned as having been present in the moments leading up to Lowrence’s fentanyl death.

(Would love to read this arrest affidavit tbh)

Wow - so she planned to bring this in the whole time when she was sentenced?

^^^ At the 1:20-1:30 mark in the video it's reported that Letecia had a brown paper bag she put on the table, then 20 minutes later some other inmate picked it up, and it was given to Lawrence the woman who died later that day. Guards / Prison Officials don't see that as related incidences? It sure makes me nervous and makes me wonder what the heck was going on with this paper bag.

Sure, they say unrelated, but Letecia's name was mentioned because of that bag she laid down and somebody picked up, gave to the woman who died. Do they know what was actually in the bag? Why would it be transferred around like that? MOO, and my own suspicious distrust of LS.

Not her first contraband introduction offense -- but it was dismissed!

3/10/23

Authorities arrested Katariina Gibson, 27, and booked her into the El Paso County jail on March 3 on felony charges of proximate cause of death by unlawful distribution and introducing contraband in the second degree. Her bond is set at $100,000, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said Gibson was previously incarcerated at the jail for a separate incident. Court records show she has a history of drug-related charges in El Paso County.

Gibson was found guilty of controlled substance possession in December 2020 and April 2019 and of controlled substance distribution in January 2020. She faced contraband introduction, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession charges in February 2020, which were dismissed.

Gibson has also been convicted in El Paso County of knowing or reckless child abuse causing injury in 2019 and driving while ability impaired in 2018.

Sheriff Joseph Roybal said he has a “zero-tolerance policy for illicit drugs in his jail and will continue to enforce the policy strongly.”

LS is not going to sit anywhere quietly unless they tranquilize the bejesus out of her. Hah - she is a walking tornado IMO

I do have to admit reading this whole case (finally up to date, hi) has been one long series of, "Oh, she's back on her cowpoop again."

I also foresee courtroom garbage.

I think the precaution of bolting laptops to the table is not only wise but necessary. Court staff should be able to go about their duties without having laptops flung in their direction. The court reporter who was almost hit by the laptop thrown by that other offender in the direction of the judge... that's unacceptable. They have to type up traumatic stuff every single day, accurately. We talk about the impact on jurors. At least they can show emotion and reach for the tissues, and a trial, eventually, is over. A court reporter just has to keep typing. And then come back to the next trial and do it again. They shouldn't have to dodge projectiles into the bargain. And with what we've seen from this defendant, I wouldn't put it past her to lash out at anyone in range if it satisfied the need in her to cause a scene. Glad he's preemptively removing those items from play long before the trial begins.

MOO

Ugh....I really reAlly don't want this demon to try and take the easy way out before she lets Gannon's family have some justice at the trial.

Is she going to get some fentanyl and take the coward's way out? I think she might be too narcissistic to do so.

One of the reasons our ole Crazy Justice Train and family of sleuths relocated here in CO. Knowing LS can go from zero to swinging from the rafters in a moment's notice. Wanting justice for GS and keeping a close eye on LS.

Interesting to meet Letecia's new friends in the neighborhood.
I don't think she'll fentanyl her way out of her trial. She's probably rehearsing for her one woman show, planning exactly what she'll say and do.

We wouldn't leave you standing at the station young lady and love having you aboard on the ole train. We're just keeping the sleuths and firebox warmed up and ready to take on LS and possible antics in court.

Absolutely. It’s gonna be a circus. She won’t allow Gannon or his parents any dignity in this trial.
