Remind you of Jodi Arias?Absolutely. It’s gonna be a circus. She won’t allow Gannon or his parents any dignity in this trial.

I hope this Judge has 1/10th of the calm and honorable demeanor of Judge Newman in the Murdaugh Trial.Absolutely. It’s gonna be a circus. She won’t allow Gannon or his parents any dignity in this trial.

I do have to admit reading this whole case (finally up to date, hi) has been one long series of, "Oh, she's back on her cowpoop again."
I also foresee courtroom garbage.
I think the precaution of bolting laptops to the table is not only wise but necessary. Court staff should be able to go about their duties without having laptops flung in their direction. The court reporter who was almost hit by the laptop thrown by that other offender in the direction of the judge... that's unacceptable. They have to type up traumatic stuff every single day, accurately. We talk about the impact on jurors. At least they can show emotion and reach for the tissues, and a trial, eventually, is over. A court reporter just has to keep typing. And then come back to the next trial and do it again. They shouldn't have to dodge projectiles into the bargain. And with what we've seen from this defendant, I wouldn't put it past her to lash out at anyone in range if it satisfied the need in her to cause a scene. Glad he's preemptively removing those items from play long before the trial begins.
MOO
If she appears in orange, my understanding is that it's because it's her choice to do so. I think she is within her rights to wear civvies, and enter before the jury so they don't see any restraints. It helps to prevent prejudgements. However, I am not a lawyer, so if I am incorrect, please correct me.IIRC, Joe DeAngelo sat in a cage for his proceedings (the courtroom was in the jail building). However, he didn't have a jury trial.
I wonder how the judge will react if LS(Tee) throws something (including a tantrum). I figure they'll keep her discreetly shackled, in her orange jumpsuit.
IMO

decoy, maybe.^^^ At the 1:20-1:30 mark in the video it's reported that Letecia had a brown paper bag she put on the table, then 20 minutes later some other inmate picked it up, and it was given to Lawrence the woman who died later that day. Guards / Prison Officials don't see that as related incidences? It sure makes me nervous and makes me wonder what the heck was going on with this paper bag.
Sure, they say unrelated, but Letecia's name was mentioned because of that bag she laid down and somebody picked up, gave to the woman who died. Do they know what was actually in the bag? Why would it be transferred around like that? MOO, and my own suspicious distrust of LS.
*There’s got to be a delusional strategy going on in her narrative. Could it be to elicit sympathy from the jury. And…could it backfire? I found an unrelated case:I am not a lawyer either or play one on TV - but I believe - yes she has/had a choice on what to wear to trial. She opted for the orange jail suit....
That would be a dream come true if Judge Newman could take over this trial. This trial could turn into a clown show if someone doesn't take control from the jump.I hope this Judge has 1/10th of the calm and honorable demeanor of Judge Newman in the Murdaugh Trial.
I think she asked for one but didn't get it. I'll try and find a link.I’m apparently having a memory lapse. I thought the evil witch was having a bench trial. How did we get back to a Jury trial?
I think this should go to the right point in the thread? Let me know if it doesn't.I’m apparently having a memory lapse. I thought the evil witch was having a bench trial. How did we get back to a Jury trial?
Defense had filed a motion for the case to not be a jury trial, district attorney Micheal Allen said this was something he would not consent to, so it’ll move forward as a jury trial.I think this should go to the right point in the thread? Let me know if it doesn't.
Found Deceased - CO - Gannon Stauch, 11, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, 27 Jan 2020 *Arrest* #53
Boy, not me. I'd need some Dramamine and a bottle of Scotch. And I don't even drink Scotch. On Thursday, the judge set a firm deadline for Letecia’s mental health report to be done, 5 p.m. March 16. bbm
*Tick Tock goes the clock… I’d be so interested in the script that must be circling that conniving woman’s brain.![]()

My Medical Board doctors always used to advise drinking scotch and water to avoid a hangover. They said it was taught to first year medical students right off the bat. I quit drinking three years ago or I’d join ya. It’s gonna be a wild ride for sure. I’m wondering if she’s gonna call Eduardo as a witness. Geez, that woman is so delusional, I actually think she believes herself and is gonna pull a rabbit out of the hat to shock the judge and jury.Boy, not me. I'd need some Dramamine and a bottle of Scotch. And I don't even drink Scotch.
