Youre so right. I'm a stepmom,too. But even though that boy is my stepson, his well-being is #1! He is an adult now but omgosh, he has been "mine" for 20 years....I just can't imagine not taking care of any child. But the minute I fell in love, my mans son was #1 right along with my own kids...these step parents...idk, I mean, REALLY?!?!?

I’m not sure I made myself clear. I believe her that Gannon is still alive. That’s about the only thing I believe in her statements. She’s very manipulative and spiteful. I don’t like her one bit! I think she may have hidden him at the advice of another. She’s dead broke. Something really bad happened that day and she used her conning ways to kill two birds with one stone to ensure he returns in good health. I think she thought she would benefit from this stunt. It backfired on her. Oh hell, idk. I also have another outrageous theory that I won’t reveal. I’m just waiting to hear something really bad from EPCSO. Then go find a place to hide my head in embarrassment and cry for Gannon.

Curious as to why you are holding out on us? I also believe that TS BELIEVES that Gannon is still alive, even if only in her sick crazy way...but I am curious what your theory is and/or why you are not revealing it?

I grew up with a narcissistic mother, and TS acts and converses similarly, however my mother is far more eloquent. I hardly believe having NPD qualifies being a murderer. IME with my mother, she will go to the ends of the earth to prove herself right, especially when someone says otherwise. FWIW, I believe, or rather am hoping, that TS truly believes that GS is alive--even if she's only just convinced herself of it in some delusional way.

Spousal privilege is totally optional, it's almost like pleading the fifth. Nothing prevents a person from making statements or testifying against their own spouse if they want to do so.

Oh no need to go hide in embarrassment! All good. Some of the very thoughts you have, HAVE crossed my mind too. And, I think if she had just stopped shooting off her mouth, I might still have had a morsel of hope.

Anyway, I have an alternate theory too, but I'm having a hard time believing it because she would have to have someone so devoted to her to participate. Unfortunately, in that theory, I fear Gannon would have become too hot a potato by now and there would be no going back. JMHO

I just took a drive to check out the search activity. It’s not on Woodmoor the subdivision East of I25. It’s near the Woodmoor Estates area on 105 north of Palmer Lake. The exact address is 13800 Highway 105.

The EPCSO mobile command unit was there. I didn’t see any activity - probably farther off the road. KRDO was also there - the reporter said that as far as he knew, Gannon hasn’t been found. The search team has been there since 7:30 this morning. The area they’re searching is pretty rugged.

A little more color about this area. Most of the homes are on large acreage - small ranches or small subdivisions with homes on a few acres. It has snowed at least 2' since sweet Gannon went missing so I can't imagine how they could find him, especially today when it's snowing and blowing and very cold. It's literally a needle in a haystack with a bunch of snow on top unless they have specific information.

It does seem like someone could get away with leaving a body here, although it's hard to imagine a red truck wouldn't be noticed if someone drove by. Highway 105 (aka Perry Park Rd.) has a moderate amount of commuting traffic but traffic is pretty sparse during the day and people live out here at least somewhat because they want their privacy.

No you didn’t. I said that the way Gannon was hunched over walking slowly to the red truck in the video from Monday. Then taking a long pause and not closing the door reminded me of how my son would act if he was totally distracted by looking down at a handheld gaming device, such as his Nintendo Switch. Can we quote from a previous thread? I couldn’t figure that out. The “Quote” button wasn’t there.

You're right, there's a marital privilege exclusion for Colorado.
Under exceptions:
(D) Any criminal action or proceeding in which a minor's parent is charged with a crime committed against the communicating minor child, the parent's spouse, the parent's partner in a civil union, or a minor child of either the parent or the parent's spouse or the parent's partner in a civil union;

(G) Any action or proceeding on a petition alleging child abuse, dependency or neglect, abandonment, or non-support by a parent.

I’m with the few of you who have this opinion. I’ve also mostly stayed in lurking mode during this case due to being in the vast minority with my opinion
I think TS sucks, I think she’s narcissistic, I think she went about things completely wrong, but I don’t think she killed GS. My downfall is I have literally no reason to think this. It’s just this deep, gut feeling I can’t shake. I see the majority of opinions both here and on Facebook and I can’t help it. I can’t shake it.
I will not, however, be too proud to stand corrected and admit I’m wrong if/when the time comes

In the interview with the EPC Sheriff's Office today, the media spokeswoman was asked if TS's statement made last night, hindered the investigation (paraphrased because I can't remember verbatim).

The spokeswoman responded: Obviously when things are said, especially by people close to Gannon, these are going to be investigated.

It sounds to me as if, they had not heard these "facts" that TS stated before last night and they would be investigated.
