I'm playing catch up. Since the bio dad and bio mom had already given an interview, didn't they cover that very pertinent information? Jmo

No....they were thanking searchers and pleading for info on Gannon....letting him know how loved he is and how much they want him home. No mention of where he likes to go...

Presented a pretty great united front for divorced parents IMO.

‘300 citizen volunteers’ ready to help search for Colorado boy, missing 6 days

SABBM:

As of Saturday, there were no plans to end the search.

"Right now, we don't have a date in mind that it will end," said Kirby.

Officials said they were thankful for so many boots on the ground -- helping them cover a large area -- each of them treating Gannon as their own.

"We have 300 citizen volunteers who have been vetted and should a need arise," said Kirby.

As of Saturday night, officials had taken 110 tips from the community.

Didn’t they include that on the first missing poster? I could swear it was there because I thought it was so odd. I need to go back and look.....I may be losing it!
They did. I’m not sure who made the poster though.

I have continually searched for confirmation since day one. It’s not out there. The closest thing ever said was that a major crime team was called in because they had the tech ability to retrieve specialized info on phones or something like that. I’m paraphrasing right now. A poster asked about a google search verification and I posted the only msm source which I described above. That’s it. Seriously. It’s in thread one early pages somewhere. I purposely haven’t gone there in discussion. Because...
I guess we'll have to be patient and wait and see.
I wonder if they are still out there searching today and where.

Did I read that TES was involved?

I thought there is a link on thread 1 that a neighbor called 911. It might also be in the media thread.
Yes, I have read about that discrepancy. . Neighbour did call 911, that is true. And LE arrived after the neighbour called. But SM said she called as well. But apparently LE didnt r4espond quickly until after the neighbour called later.

Missing boy's stepmother slams El Paso County Sheriff's Office, claims rights violated

SABBM:

Deb Mynatt, a spokeswoman for the agency, said she could not comment on Letecia Stauch's claims, citing an ongoing investigation. Mynatt could not comment if Letecia Stauch currently had a lawyer, either. Instead, she said, the agency is trying to keep the focus on finding Gannon, not on Letecia Stauch's statements to KKTV.
___________

Oh! Bravo, Ms. Mynatt!

Love this pointed response to SM's self-obsessed histrionics.

SM is sucking all the oxygen out of the room.

Nobody cares about her crummy rights OR her kid's cruddy underwear.

The only person who matters right now is GS.

The only thing that matters right now is locating him.

WHERE IS GANNON?

JMO.
LOL !.....Opinion - Best avatar ever !........LOL !.............mooooooooooo

Sorry...I didn't intend to convey that I am local with my post...because I am not.

Just trying to help from Canada.

Trying to familiarize myself with immediate area for now. It appears there is a donut shop a 5 minute walk from his house. I think if he stuck to any main street nearby, CCTV would have caught him. Closest library is a 7 minute drive.

His back yard fence looks too high to climb to sneak through neighbours backyards.

Where did this little guy go?

JMO

Sounds like your map isn’t quite accurate. There are no shops within 5 minutes walking distance of his house. It’s all houses and open space. The nearest thing is an Arby’s and McDonald’s and even those are a 4 miles.

I live in the area.

(edited to change distance to fast food.)

Here's the poster in question:

Not sure how official this poster is, though.

Appears to be rather slapdash to me…not terribly professional-looking.

Also note the use of quotation marks around reference to him staying home from school due to being "sick."

I don't think LE would use quotation marks like that in an official MP Poster.

Sheriff's Office actively looking for 11-year-old Gannon Stauch, missing over 48 hours - KRDO
I just went through the media thread and can only find reference to the phone being left at home .... I know the stepmom did an interview which I have yet to watch - did she bring it up? It will be a week tomorrow and I only feel dread for this little boy

Great info. But fences don't stop kids.. I reckon he either crossed the main road to head hill direction or he went out a back way. It is not inconceivable that cctv's would have been unlikely to have extensive coverage.
If this had been planned for a long time, it's more likely it would have been closer to home though. what I mean is that if he had pre-prepared a place to hide and furnished it with supplies regularly for a survival, closer to home is more likely, to occlude tracks lessen chance of being spotted.

They did. I’m not sure who made the poster though.
The picture on that 1st MISSING poster was taken by SM, they day before, on that hike.

So I have to think that SM was involved putting that 1st poster together. I don't think many others would have that picture already.

Yes I remember LE describing the caller as a caller. When asked if the caller was the sm, they replied affirmatively.

Because it could affect her whole military career, which is just starting out. To get into the academy she would have had extensive background checks (I have 2 18 year old female relatives going into the AF academy there, and one relative who flies planes all over, internationally, for AF), and her mother said she had never done anything wrong or broken any rules. It's hard enough for females to compete in the armed services at the academy level which is the main conduit for becoming an officer. So I think she was mortified, embarrassed, and I doubt, IMO, that a young person in her position as a beginning cadet would have caused a melee to the point of being handcuffed over who had the keys to the car. So, if you were referring to me, that's why I always refer to the USAF, it's hard to get in, and it's hard to stay in, and even rougher for women who have to deal with all the sexual assaults and discrimination. (Throughout the military)
As a female combat veteran (Army), you are correct. IME

Thank you for correcting my error.
I will edit my post.

Its a Makin Smiles Coffee shop I was looking at. It shows as a 5 min walk from his home. I assumed it was a donut shop. My error!

Great to have locals keeping this factual.

Thanks again!

Never heard of it. Guess I’ll have to check it out.

You are correct in what you're saying...

I keep going back to......what is more important a 17 year olds career or the life/death Gannon?
