This is my experiemce of rural or open spaces. There is someone out there wondering why you are pulled off or even just why you are going along a solitary road which only has one or two destinations.
Who are they visiting? Are they realtors, meth heads, lost, thieves, vandals or etc.

True, I lived on a bumpy rural road. I see the same few cars every day. I notice new ones. Maybe not so much a small gray or white car, but a big red truck, yes.

Another poster said it is the tubing to his camel back water backpack. The way the end looks like a snorkel with a mouth piece makes me agree. IMO

You’re good. That picture has been published in many MSM articles, and it’s a relevant question.

As long as the photo comes from a MSM source, it’s fair game.

I'm not sure LE would do that but then again... a full week had passed and every searcher was off looking for a local child that had walked away from home and all the possibilities that entailed.
A drive away was a huge change of direction.
It could well be.

When were they planning on telling everybody, like?
300 volunteer searchers had been vetted by LE at that stage... for a local fingertip search which was cancelled at very short notice. 00's of hours of LE time spent on the vetting... 00's spent on local walk away search possibilities..
Of course that vehicle was gonna be hugely relevant to any effective search for the child.

So maybe not calling her a POI but it was for sure a way to get the word out about the vehicle without straight up asking for tips about a red truck and thereby insinuating she’s a POI.

I believe that’s the tube straw from his water bottle backpack. They’re called Camelbak, and my son had to have one last year, filled it with water once and then juice and never used it again.

There was nothing suspicious about that post. OP post was simply being critical of TS claiming Gannon did a search on his phone aking whether or not a parent can find you on their phone. I'm not sure how that is any different than anything everyone else has been saying. Jmo

I’m a RVT, I zoomed in on it as well. I have no idea what it is. I also asked my son (same age as G) if he knew what it was, no idea either. Irrelevant, but I wonder if ole Tee, being a 40 something year old woman feels stupid that her attempt at a duck face photo is all over the world and looks absolutely ridiculous!!

No, I don't believe it would, yet.
First, we don't know if they requested the data, or when they requested it, or how long it took them to go over it all (or if they have yet).
There is SO much evidence already in this case, even if we the public don't realize it.
Think, cell data (which includes tower pings, texts, emails, photos, videos, sm site logins, private messages, deleted data that needed to be recovered),
neighborhood door cam vids, surv. vids, gps data, traffic cam data, physical evidence collected inside the house, the step-daughter's car, her car, the truck, banking info, retail business videos, and... that's just the stuff I can think of off the top of my head.
Without exception, in every case I've ever followed that also went to trial, the amount of evidence presented in court always blows me away, not only by what IS included that I never even thought of, but what ISN'T included that I thought would be.
The prosecution's opening statement almost always reveals details that never made it to the public, and hints at the evidence uncovered that is going to prove the case.

Then you have to wonder, how many people are actually working this case, and this case alone, all day long?
We don't even really know how many investigators and forensic specialists are working this case or how backlogged any of them are.
When you (and I don't mean you personally, just a general "you") stop and think about how much evidence has to be processed, and how carefully it all has to be processed, and then all the searches and leads and tips... and all the man hours that takes... that's a LOT of work, and it takes time.
Just something to think about.

I highlighted the cams here with red arrows (and there are two more on the other side of the intersection) but I'm wondering if someone here knows how the footage for these cams is stored, or used.

Yes. And I feel like it was leaked on purpose to get the word out that she was in a red truck that day, not a black SUV. It was a subtle way of calling her a POI instead coming out and saying it.

LE said from the beginning that anyone they want to talk to that may have information is a POI, but it does seem unusual that they haven't said she is a suspect. I don’t think she’s embarrassed by it, as much as she’s proud of it.

That picture was featured on the first missing poster, and I have to believe she had a hand in that.

I mean when a kid is missing and you’re trying to get the word out, who doesn’t circulate a group photo to aid in the effort?

I understand LE not naming a POI but I don't understand why they did not report his last sighting was in the red vehicle, if that is the case.
That is vital information for SAR. For local police who have access to traffic cams for apb's...

LE doesn't have to name her publicly. I do like that she feels she is a POI. That's good enough for me.
