“The El Paso County Sheriff's Office and partners will continue to search specific areas based on tips and leads in this investigation. The investigation and the search processes will continue to run parallel with one another in hopes of finding Gannon and bringing him home safely.

To date, we have received 231 tips.

District Attorney Dan May being in the Stauch home does not change the ongoing efforts in the search for Gannon.
Our priority remains bringing Gannon home safely to his parents and the investigation continues. The Crime Lab will be present at the home for the next few days as evidence is collected and processed.

Wow. That’s an impressive list of cooperating organizations! The only group I don’t see is Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Once they do finally make an arrest I hope that changes and they ask for Tammy to come down and do the interviews.

Several days collecting evidence is kind of a trip to consider. That's a lot of evidence.

Right? They’ve already been there a few times, and anticipate more. Trying to think of what they’d need to do that would take so much time. Searching each room for evidence?

If that is the case, the family living there all this time could be a real issue, in a court case, I’d imagine.

I hate thinking these things but she definitely seems involved in something that led to Gannon disappearing. And this case has my head spinning.

And the crime scene people going to be at the house for 4 days?! I'm worried Gannon may be in the house. Or maybe they uncovered something else illicit going on? I can't fathom WTH is going on here.

Having watched SM's interview several times, I do not see that scenario being in play whatsoever here.

I'm confident that whatever happened has nothing to do with protecting someone else.

Was the video plea by the family shown on Local Fox 5:00 News today new, or did they replay one that had been previously broadcast? (the mother spoke, then the father, then the little sister).

SM surely did not seem in the least concerned in her interview about whatever investigators might find in her home. Wouldn’t she have been protesting wildly about being kicked out, knowing all this evidence could be found? Is she that confident that it was hidden?

I don't see anything wrong with the parent's demeanor either but a poster said that during the PC the mother seemed to be fake crying and compared her to Susan Smith.


I thought she seemed genuine.


But it's a good example of how everyone sees things differently and it's very hard to judge people based on a few minutes of video.


Although sometimes it's more about what they say than anything else, such as the stepmother in her interview.

I can't fathom the need for days at the house, and I don't remember seeing this before. It's a newer house, and not a lot to go through.

I tend to think the wording was meant to ramp up pressure on someone, someone that may hope LE misses something.
