I've just been following along, like a bump on a log. Thought I'd contribute something to the thread.

This is with regard to the Bridge Inspector, Mr. Ponder (a hero), who found the suitcase with Gannon in it.

"The Conecuh River and Escambia River are a single 258-mile-long river in the southern United States, which flows from Alabama through Florida into the Gulf of Mexico. The Conecuh River rises near Union Springs, Alabama and flows 198 miles in a general southwesterly direction into Florida near the town of Century. Wikipedia"

That's all I've got!

So how did LS think this was going to work: AS (and LH too)was going to accept some bad dude took and murdered my son, and thank G_d he only raped my wife.. but we'll just move on with our lives, and remember Gannon in our prayers. Was that it? Dumb and hated criminals are a reality -- they do exist.
Exactly this IMO.

Then they could be a family. Without Gannon.

Al wouldn't leave her. Wouldn't make her get job. Just Al and T and L. H, off to the AF. Gannon, just gone.

Cue the National Anthem.

Totally off topic but I love Yoder's accent. And he's also another hero in Gannon's story.

Is the evil witch crying right now? One of her lawyers just patted her on the shoulder.

d

Dropped so hard that it set off a gun that was just lying there which disturbed a pile of sharp knives that somebody had chucked..

Probably will try to maintain she wasn't tall/strong/high enough to drop that weight to where it landed at the angle it did..
having attempted to introduce doubt re machinery having somehow moved it..

Same old same old...
Makes no sense unless she's denying it..
possibly trying to introduce doubt about who actually chucked it...?

She would too.
Hmmm, you bring up an interesting point. Was Letecia strong enough to hoist the suitcase by herself? It makes me wonder if she had help from her daughter.

The fact that his body was found at all is amazing. The defense wants to argue that his head was damaged by the drop from the bridge?! Well, whatever, Gannon is still dead.

Absolutely easy to tell upon forensic examination, as post-mortem skull fractures look quite different (both to the naked eye and under the microscope) to pre-mortem fractures.

However, I thought there was evidence from the ME to contradict that claim already. All of it very sad. I'm sure the ME will testify at some point and we'll get something of a picture of what this monster did.

IMO

Wish that bridge had collapsed, with her on it, while she hefted the suitcase over the railing.

I can only assume that is his new wife and baby.
