The saddest thing--for me--was when Al said Gannon had love for LS.

So, did she attempt to kill him on the 26th by means of burning and was unsuccessful? I'm just trying to understand the burns.
The burns had to do with a tipped candle and damage to the rug in the rental house the evening before Gannon was murdered.

LS alleged the carpet damage was by Gannon and begins intimidating him that they are going to be evicted and/or will have to sell furnishings to pay for the repairs. I recall one of LS's alleged errands the next day included a trip to a sporting goods consignment to sell gear belonging to Gannon -- all part of the punishment.

IMO, LS's rage and ultimate murder of Gannon was a culmination of events including her anger at AS for leaving home early for his military trip, the candle incident, Gannon having stomach issues during the night-- and once again, LS was left to deal with it all while in LS's opinion, AS and LH did nothing. Did Gannon actually spill wax or burn the carpet the night before? Is that what precipitated the attack?

I think he maybe accidentally knocked over a lighted candle, spilled hot wax on himself and the carpet. She got mad about the carpet, maybe they weren't supposed to have wax candles per their renters agreement (my speculation) and she was angry because she would get found out for breaking the rules?.

I definitely think there was a candle and that he got burned, but I think that part was accidental. JMO

I wondered the same. Was he playing with a candle & spilled wax and burned himself?
Was it her candle that he accidentally knocked over, spilled wax and burned himself?

Either way, Gannon's biggest concern were his burns.
LS biggest concern was making him feel even worse by telling him they had to sell stuff to take care of it so they wouldn't be kicked out of the house. Or rather "so the lady don't be mad at us". This from a "teacher".

I know most of us already knew all this but being reminded of it again during court today is just so... UGH.

Not harsh at all. She does not deserve one ounce of peace.
Here's to hoping they treat women child killers the same way they do in mens prisons....

I wonder if she didn't blow the candle out really hard and the wax blew on to Gannon (purposely) and from there she
dropped the candle on to the rug.... and blamed Gannon for the "rug damage" to circumvent the real issue, which was her burning him. More orchestration ....manipulation (She had burned him, but let's forget that and make him fixate on the fact that.. because of him, the carpet is now burned and "What are we going to do about that?" )

Wasn't the little sister in the house when this occurred? Surely there are other sides to this story?

It's foggy for me for sure due to length of time but Al's comments about the bed being moved out from the wall is what made me wonder. She had to move the bed to clean up the blood so why was it already moved out from the wall when the pics were taken?

Just thinking outloud and wondering why the bed was moved, and a blanket on the bed that Al said wasn't Gannons and was not normally on the bed. It sounds like the whole thing was staged, for what she was about to do. To me, that blows "insanity" out of the water.
Gannon had stomach issues since birth and from memory, I recall the discussion here was it was possible the bed was moved when changing Gannon's bed sheets. Recalling LS alleged Gannon had a bad night and she reported herself and Gannon off from school early that morning.

Given AS testified to keeping the suitcase after he split with LH, I doubt using this suitcase had anything to do with framing LH but needing a large suitcase ASAP to hide the body and blankets. JMO
I agree. I think she thought they would never put everything together because she was so smart.

I don't think they've covered that yet, but I keep thinking his burns were pretty serious. I'm guessing she burned him badly, which is why he was worried about the burns. They probably hurt like hell.

I doubt he did anything with a candle at all.

I don't think he did anything with a candle, either.

I realize that the timeline has been going back and forth, but I recall that LS was supposed to be starting a new job that day (the stomach issues day) and yet I haven't seen it mentioned. We had speculated much earlier that it may have contributed to LS's rage by needing to stay home from work. Conversely, Al said it was unusual for G to stay home for that.
Maybe it just hasn't come up since Al wasn't a direct witness to that.

Does anyone know when HH is scheduled to testify?

IMO, the state will probably play it out and not call her unless they believe they truly need her testimony. I think HH has come around (matured) to agreeing to help the prosecution but was not always cooperative. She's also on the defense witness list. JMO

Law & Crime on YouTube

Thank you for this link.

I have one point: when AS was talking about the suitcase, he said he only used it to move or PCS. PCS is a military term for Permanent Change of (Duty) Station on orders, eg moving from one base or post in one place to somewhere else. Al is surprisingly very articulate - I find him honest, clear, direct.

Yep ughh they are hiding her or she's not there no one's said anything about her

She's at the far end of table, she's cut off in some streams, but can see her in the L&C one.

I just started watching and am appreciating that AS calls her the defendant.

I am not appreciating the poor audio from the attorney. The media staff at that courthouse need to get it together.

Since the prosecution said she'd be testifying, I think it's a bad idea for them not to call her.

Yeah. From a "teacher" with a "PhD"!

I'm unclear as to what the prosecutor is trying to establish. So far, he's made her look like a crazy loon--a manipulator, but not necessarily one who is in control of her actions. More of a reactionary.

JMOO
She is a crazy loon manipulator. One that knew right from wrong and hid her tracks by lying, manipulating, cleaning up, picking up shell casings, hiding her car. Imo, those things prove she knew right from wrong and doesn't meet the legal definition of insanity. Imo.
