You took the words right out of my mouth!

I think he has shown she is very in control of her actions, she plots and enacts in order to get her way. She manipulates every aspect and all the players in her game. JMO
LS is a liar. She lied to Al repeatedly just to get attention, create drama and chaos. She has zero empathy for how the children feel being used as mere pawns in her games. I absolutely do not believe Gannon ever threatened anyone, and he certainly never threatened her with a knife IMO.

I hope she takes the stand only because I want to see more of her to determine what I believe, crazy versus merely criminal. She may well have murdered Gannon in a dissociated and delusional state of rage, but she needs to show that and explain it herself, then they can lock her in a hospital for the criminally insane and throw away the key. JMO there.

I don't think they've covered that yet, but I keep thinking his burns were pretty serious. I'm guessing she burned him badly, which is why he was worried about the burns. They probably hurt like hell.

I doubt he did anything with a candle at all.

JMOO
What could she have burned him with? Monster

I am not appreciating the poor audio from the attorney. The media staff at that courthouse need to get it together.
^^rsbm

Actually, no courtroom in Colorado is set up for media and/or external audio outside of the courtroom. Allowing replay via Webinar/WebEx is a one-off by Court Order for this case only. Media staff already had their hands full anchoring all external electronic devices by the attorneys and staff to the desks and tables of the courtroom!

Wow, they're going to actually play all the pretext calls? Just one of them is 1:57 hours long.
Well I guess that explains the 6 weeks they have reserved for this trial. yikes.

god, that was purely to taunt Landon.Waving whilst jumping into water.
She is a stone cold b****
Does anyone remember the date when she put that video up? We didn't know she'd taken him to Florida when that went up, and it wasn't til some time later that he was found. I'm wondering if she posted that video right after she threw him in what she thought was water.

Al Stauch, who was in Oklahoma for military training when Gannon went missing, was the first witness to take the stand. He flew home and immediately got involved in searching for his son.

He said he found it odd that Letecia Stauch told him she had rented a car to do searches for Gannon out of concern about going over the mileage on her lease.

"Things like miles on your car don't matter in an emergency," Al Stauch said.

He said Letecia Stauch told him she had left her car at the elementary school where she worked. When he went to the school it was not there.

"I drove around the school three times just to make sure I didn't miss it," Al Stauch said. "That was the key moment. She knows more than she's telling me."

It was at that time, he said he called the sheriff's office and told them "something wasn't right" and later began cooperating with investigators.

Two days after Gannon went missing, Al Stauch testified that Letecia Stauch told him a man had broken into their home, raped and attacked her, and took Gannon. He said he asked her why there were no signs of a struggle in the home and she replied, "I cleaned it up, I got scared."

Exactly.

As someone who is from colorado/follows a lot of CO crimes/trials....this is like next level for us!

I'll never complain about having audio AND a feed after trial by tweet (across the street). For me this is like high def 4k viewing.

(Also lol I forgot about all the electronics needing to be anchored down in his courtroom)

I understand that, but they still should do a better job with the miking, if they are going to do this at all. The point is to allow the public to witness the proceedings. It's not for a frivolous purpose. They have a duty to make it work properly.

Since the prosecution said she'd be testifying, I think it's a bad idea for them not to call her.
^^bbm

Not necessarily. Jurors don't like seeing witnesses (children) forced to testify against their parents and won't hold it against the prosecution. Given the witness is also on the defense witness list, there's no guarantee of what the child of the defendant will say if called. Rule 101 is don't call a witness if you don't know how they'll answer your questions! (The prosecution for Murdaugh never called cousin Eddie either). JMO

I’m guessing that you are watching the beginning of AS testimony today? If it’s any consolation, after awhile the mic at the podium was turned or or fixed.

That's true, I think the DA said she would be testifying as to LS knowing right from wrong, basically to her sanity. So, maybe that's the most they can hope to get from her.

Are you watching directly from WebEx? Because I struggled hearing when I tried to watch on there yesterday.

I feel like Law&Crime youtube has boosted audio. Haven't had any problems hearing on their stream.

I think the audio issue is you can only hear the attorney when they are standing at the podium right in front of the mic. When they move around is the problem.

I recall LS would upload evidence to Facebook and take it down hours later -- she was going to be the hero. I'm recalling LS's backward-facing interview with reporter Spencer Wilson when she told him she'd be expecting full apologies very soon. I think it was around this same time. I don't recall LS posting anything after leaving Colorado. JMO
