He has been this angry the whole time, for WEEKS, and he is actually letting it out. But at the same time, he is controlled and steering this conversation to try and extract information. Yes, I think Judge Werner clued them in when he responded to counsel evidence is what they see/hear from the witness stand. I'm sure they want to come up with a statement to clarify LS does not have to testify and not doing so can't be held against her. JMO
