"I believe she is, and was, absolutely sane," Al Stauch, Gannon’s father, said when asked by the prosecution if he believed Letecia Stauch was sane. "From the time I met her to even today."

During the prosecution’s opening statement Allen referenced that a psychiatrist with the state hospital in Pueblo found Letecia Stauch sane, contradicting the findings of the defense’s expert.

"You know where Gannon is. You're (expletive) lying to me," Al Stauch yells at his then-wife at one point. "Who the (expletive) has my boy?"

This is (expletive)," Al Stauch said almost immediately in response. "There is no (expletive) Quincy guy. ... Five years of lies and now my son is gone."

“I'm sorry for all the stories. I didn't know what to do," Letecia Stauch said through tears. "He fell (off) it (a bike) and he got hurt, bad."

Grim testimony came in the afternoon from Macon Ponder, a Florida Department of Transportation bridge inspector who found Gannnon's body, and Jason Yoder, a major crimes detective with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office -- an agency that covers two counties of the same name at the Alabama-Florida state line. bbm

Thanks for the reminder. blunt force trauma explains the board discovered with blood on it.
By god, she did it all, didn't she?
Thanks for bringing this up. I got Curious. Open Spoiler. It can be expanded for larger print like images are expanded.
N, no, no. She used the board to move his body, I thought?
Thanks. That seems correct. See Spoiler.

I’m sorry if this ha been discussed, but I can’t find it in my notes.
AS drove to Denver airport with his Mom. If LS’s car is in the garage, AS’s truck is in the driveway and HH is driving her car, what did AS drive to the Denver Airport?

This is the name I am looking for:

Next on the stand were two members of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office: A major crimes detective who found brushes and scissors in the dishwasher -- with one brush having carpet and hair fibers -

I know the 2nd one of these two - Sgt. Yunkin but not the 1st one -

I’ve looked and because either the news people missed him spelling his name or else he didn’t spell it out - he’s not listed by name yet. I see Twitter news people trying to find out the same thing.

Detectives said evidence, including time-stamped photographs and videos, indicate Gannon was still alive on the morning of Jan. 27. Those include a photo from approximately 8:13 a.m. showing the child asleep in his bed. A Nintendo Switch gaming system is visible in the photo. Detectives said the gaming system was very important to Gannon, and it has never been found.

Detectives say on Jan. 28, 2020, Letecia conducted a Google search, asking, “Can Nintendo find my Switch?”

When did Al get full custody of the children ? I imagine that’s when her anger grew, she didn’t want to raise his children.
And in hindsight, it was a mistake on Al's part.

But, if I remember correctly, LS encouraged him to try and get custody away from Landon. That might have been just to upset Landon. Correct me if I have that wrong.

With Al's line of work, he didn't have the opportunity to come home to his family every day of the week. He had to depend on someone else to care for the kids--for extended periods at times.

He probably fell for LS's assurances at first that she'd take up the stepmother role with honesty, compassion, and love. Realistically, it was perhaps more about LS wanting the security of Al's paycheck for her and Harley.

With Landon having problems and her new husband being less-than-desirable, Al was between a rock and a hard place. He was the only one in Gannon's and Laina's lives who was stable. He didn't have a lot of good decisions to choose from. LS took advantage of that.

I really want to know what HH knew.

Al said she was "very reserved" but didn't say anything else, and it seemed as though the prosecuting attorney wanted to keep what HH told to him at that time quiet--at least for now.

I assume (JMOO) HH knew Gannon was dead and that he was in the suitcase they transported. I feel as though LS told HH a story, too. One about how Gannon accidentally died, but LS knew she would be blamed, so she needed HH to help cover up Gannon's death. After hearing those phone calls, I imagine LS used the same ploy on HH--the hysterical, poor-me ploy.

In my opinion only--I feel as though HH is the key to putting LS behind bars--rather than sending her to a mental institution.

No idea but perhaps she had a rental car that he drove and turned in at the airport.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to have to testify against your own mom.
Then again, I can't imagine having a mom like LS either.
I don't know her story (I would have moved to a cave if I were her) so I just hope she does the right thing in court & tells the truth.

Only the truth will set her free to be herself, Harley, instead of evil stepmom murderess Tecia’s daughter.

I am pretty sure she rented a car and used it to pick up Al at the airport. She gave him some kind of excuse, but I don't remember what the excuse was.

But IIRC, she told him her car was parked at the school, but he went and looked for it and didn't see it so he called LE to report her lie.

ETA: IIRC, I think she said she rented the car because she wanted to drive around and look for Gannon and she didn't want him to recognise the car or he'd run off.

I think @CaliGrandmax4 is talking about before the crime, when AS flew out to OK for his training.

Interesting. I never saw a statement about size of the board, so imagined it as a small board.
