It's her birthday, according to someone further back the thread. Her family might have urged her to take the day to recharge.

Landen was there for DL’s testimony - front row left
The gray haired woman behind her is Al’s mother.
The blond looking down is Al’s wife.
Al is next to her but blocked by Kevin Clark with glasses on. You can barely see top of Al’s head and bit of his left shoulder, light blue shirt

Letecia’s family made it all about her, not Gannon. Oh, that makes me so sad. :(
That's true. But how could a family from NC/SC even start to search for anyone in Colorado Springs? I'm from NC and can't imagine trying to look for someone in an unfamiliar state unless I had help from someone living there. And obviously LS wasn't even going to pretend to help.

These 2 women must be relatives of LS. They left the courtroom as soon as her brother was done testifying. JMO

I wonder what it's like for Nottadoctor T to see LE walk through all her notsoclever countermaneuvers. All those rental cars and all for naught.

One begins to wonder if T has ever done an honest, legitimate thing in her life.

Fraud.

Her brother stated that they had asked TS about joining the searches and she was going to connect with AS. Then as time went on the family felt like they were being questioned by LE. Their feeling that they were being judged was on point-- the public, social media and LE were scrutinizing TS which reflects on them. Heck, deputies were all around them-- large numbers of officers. The scrutiny was justified because she had killed him, hid him and, ultimately, dumped him. His testimony was important from my POV because he wanted to believe her/support her, did believe/support her, and when he realized that GS was probably in that suitcase he knew she killed him. From that day to this, he appears not to be in touch with her. It goes to show that murder does affect all who are in contact with a victim and their murderer. JMHO.

Her brother had said his wife was with him at court.
Thanks. I missed that part. I didn’t mean to imply that they were there for LS, but rather they were there to support DL.
Just for the record lol.
Not directing my comment at you.

I wonder if the rest of her family speaks to her I think it's doubtful ,she destroyed so many people with her actions

You can obviously see much better details than me! I have all three video feeds lined up across my screen, but can't really see good detail of anyone in that outward facing one. I have to count the heads at the benches if I've been away from my computer for a while to tell if it's prosecution or defense at the lectern.

Does anyone else think that Tolini made an oopsy when he cross examined DL and (inaccurately) described DL as LS's stepbrother. Tolini insinuates that LS has brought shame on DL's family in a small community and it is "all his stepsister's fault". DL corrected him and stated LS was his half sister. Tolini made a point of the fact that they had different dads. It struck me that Tolini was trying to diminish their relationship and I think it probably struck a nasty cord for those who consider their "stepfamily" members as real family. I also think it was super contradictory since we are not supposed to think of LS as the evil stepmom, but as the loving mom who thought of Gannon as her own (retch- it is hard to even type that fiction).

I’m watching through WebEx and you can focus on one of three views or all three stacked or in a grid.
I focused on gallery view and took the screenshot then zoomed in before I saved it.
Unfortunately you can’t zoom in while watching it like you can on YouTube videos.

LS was 14 yrs old when her brother DL was born. His father was hit by a car and killed on DL’s 7th birthday . So LS was 21 when that happened.

She was 36 the day she killed Gannon and used that tragic event as an excuse for not reporting to work that day. An event that had occurred 15 years prior.
LS is an amoral wretch, clearly.

How many people actually resort to the "dead family member" to get out of work?

How many of those people do so with regards to a horrible potentially triggering dramatic death?

I considered that an epic smackdown of Tolini.
The words from DL, " she is my half sister, not a step sister" were right on point.
The poor Leticia is misunderstood is falling flat.

I thought that Tolini was trying to make it look as though DL was only so on board with the prosecution case because of the family 'shame'. And that he'd deny the 'insanity' business for the same reasons. As you say, that line of questioning didn't go as well as he'd hoped.
