Footage also shows Harley Hunt, Letecia's daughter, pulling up to the house in her white car after work around 4:37pm. Harley is in the house until 4:51 pm when she and her little sister Liana leave together.

This is all from Jan 27th, day of Gannon's disappearance.

I must have watched that video 1000 times or until my eyeballs fell out, can't remember which. I think Gannon got in the back seat driver side, and went out the back seat passenger side, so if true that would mean he just slid, scooted, was pushed, dragged, whatever, across the length of the back seat.
I think the back doors can't be opened from the inside so someone would have had to open the door for him. Or he was in the front passenger seat or climbed into the front passenger seat and exited from there. Or he was in the bed of the truck.

How ever it happened, poor Gannon returned to a house of horror.

As I said to the other Websleuths membe who corrected me, it’s of no real consequence because the point that I am making is that when you see a skull in real life, especially a young skull like Gannons, it takes a lot of physical force and effort powered by personal hate and rage to inflict this many injuries to the skull alone, and thats before all of the other injuries inflicted.
@NuttMegg kindly pointed out that the linked article where I quoted my information from , was wrong. So I apologise for the confusion.
However, the point that I was making which seems to be getting lost in translation, is that this IMOO is not a person who was insane at the time of this deliberate and intentional horrific attack on Gannon.
Letitia Stauch ( allegedly) was fully aware of what she was doing to this poor young boy, her supposed step son who she was responsible for his safeguarding , at the time that she carried out this attack. All of her actions subsequent to his death, prove that she was coherent and her faculties were present. IMO for her to try this insanity plea , is a disgusting tactic and she is heaping even more damage and suffering and tragedy onto Gannons family by forcing them to sit through this trial .
That was the point that I was trying to make!

It doesn't really matter whether any of us think she's sane. It's the jury who has to decide that. It's possible that a person or two could look at the extent of the injuries and conclude she was acting like a wild, non-human beast in a frenzy. IOW, "crazy" in colloquial English.

The jury is not making a psychiatric or psychological determination. They might be instructed to use the "reasonable person" standard. Just substitute the word "insane" for "negligent" in most definition. Would a reasonable person believe Letecia Stauch to be insane at the time of her murder of Gannon?

Don't know about you, but this is one I'm not willing to wager, one way or another. I have no clue how the jurors might think about it, especially as LS seems to be one of the more "advertiser censored" crazy people to appear in a US court in living memory. But, the Manson family were found sane enough - she's no more insane than they were. IMO.

But my opinion doesn't matter here. And there will be an expert (Dr Lewis) to testify that LS is indeed insane. And experts who say she isn't.

The jury gets the task of deciding and while I have strong views on what I would decide, I can't speak for each individual juror.

In this case and in my opinion.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

With the evidence we've seen laid out today, knowing the same woman that raised HH also inflicted that damage to Gannon... I can't see how anyone can not consider this kid a victim.

The next clips are of the following day, January 28 of Letecia and Harley repositioning vehicles in the driveway, and Letecia leaving for the airport to pick up Al.

Don't want to, but must imagine what went on, and Jurors will be doing the same. Truck returned at 2:24, Gannon got out of the truck as they say the shadow seen was him. Laina's school bus dropped her off around 3:10. Laina may have been briefly in the house before she was told to stay outside playing on her bike. Then, eventually Harley gets there 4:37 and is told to take Laina, leaving with her at 4:51. That's when they go for cleaning supplies at the dollar store.
So she must have killed him as soon as they got back. IMO she wouldn't have told Laina to go out and play if all was copacetic in the house. I'd think anyone could have smelled gunshot residue, at least downstairs. Was HH bedroom upstairs? That's what I recall.

I agree with you, it’s down to the jury .
Its only my opinion, I have no inside knowledge, it’s just my own personal opinion borne out of the facts known and probably slightly biased ( which I appreciate is not good ) because of how evil the alleged offender comes across.

One thing we do now know is that Gannon had defensive wounds. He wasn’t asleep. In whatever state LS was in, she had a person trying to make it stop. She wasn’t deaf. She chose to keep going.

Gannon fought back.

I take a tiny bit of comfort knowing he left this earth knowing exactly who did these horrific things to him and what his step’mother’ really was. Evil.

LS will have to live with that knowledge.

Absolutely, it would appear that he fought hard for his life. God bless him, my heart breaks for him.

Prosecution now calls up Det. Christina Perry with EPCSO

Det. Perry used undercover profile to see if they could get intel from Facebook groups related to Gannon's disappearance

Det. Perry was present when Al Stauch called investigators to share his concerns about Letecia's car missing.

Det. Perry says that Harley Hunt, Letecia's biological daughter, refused to give information or respond to request for an interview with investigators on January 28th.

Det. Perry said she talked to Harley while at their house. She would talk about things like her career aspirations, but if the detective asked about anything related to her brother she wouldn’t talk to her.

On Jan 29th, Det. Perry said Letecia came to the sheriff's office in her VW Tiguan, the car police searched for and couldn't find the night before. Det. Perry said there was still water droplets on the car and it looked like it had been freshly washed.

Det. Perry says Letecia would tell them she would be coming to do interview them and then not show or come late. The noticed money transfers as well that had them worried she'd flee so they got a warrant to track a vehicle she was driving.

Detectives conducted search for all of the trash and garbage from the Stauch family's' neighborhood for Jan 27th. They were hoping to find the comforter seen in a picture with Gannon but did not find it during this search for trash.

Stauch used an app called Life360. Police could track her whereabouts with that data.

Det. Perry talking about neighbor's surveillance pointing to the Stauch's driveway. Video showing Letecia and Gannon and a truck.

Det. Perry reading her notes after reviewing surveillance showing Gannon and Letecia leaving in a red truck.

Footage shows them leaving and returning to the house. Detective observed that when the truck returns, it is hard to tell, but she sees shadow in footage that looks like Gannon returning with Letecia.

Detective is talking about footage showing black Tiguan (Letecia's car) backing into their garage.

Detective's notes say footage shows Letecia's Tiguan backing into the garage at 2:24 pm. More video shows Gannon's little sister Laina getting off the school bus and coming home around 3:11 pm.

Footage also shows Harley Hunt, Letecia's daughter, pulling up to the house in her white car after work around 4:37pm. Harley is in the house until 4:51 pm when she and her little sister Liana leave together.

This is all from Jan 27th, day of Gannon's disappearance.

In cross, detective says there were utility workers in the area the day of the Gannon's disappearance. To her knowledge, she doesn't remember anyone reporting hearing gun shots.

Court break until 3:05 pm.

And he had one sizable skull fracture, blunt force trauma.

18 stab wounds almost randomly placed in his upper body/torso and head area.

That's what the autopsy says. Skull was not completely fractured by the blunt force trauma.

So you are correct.

Anyone claiming to have read the autopsy ought to post a link, btw. I don't see a link to the autopsy here and I don't think it's been released in full - we just have the ME's testimony. If there's an actual release to MSM of the full autopsy, whoever finds that, please post the link!

Det. Perry off the witness stand. Recess break. That was a long viewing of the Stauch driveway, but POWERFUL. Jurors saw and heard that was Gannon getting out of the truck at 2:24, and Jurors know he ended up with all those stab and blunt force wounds, as well as gun shots. The pillow used as a silencer? Now, I am sure Jurors want to hear what a key witness, Harley, will say.

Per Recovery Addict, somebody sent Landen pics of the autopsy!
