So. Many. Words. This officer is one of a kind.

Obligatory Statement analysis warning… the chronological gaps indicate areas where actual actions cannot be enumerated, due to the likelihood that unspeakable things occurred within them.
Like, driving around, feeding him vicodin and hoping he would die easily?

It’s truly unbelievable how well she can manipulate people and conversations. I’m sure Al has spent a long time looking back on their marriage and wondering WTH.
Did the ME actually find any burns on Gannon? I didn’t hear that there were.
Too much decomposition had occurred to see burns. Iirc

Court has resumed for the #LeteciaStauch murder trial. We'll continue watching video of Letecia's interview with detectives on January 29.

Letecia is describing how on Monday, January 27, her and Gannon rode to Petco and he stayed in the car because he wasn’t feeling well. Letecia said he was keeping an eye on him, and she kept walking toward the front of the store to look out the window toward the car.

Letecia said her and Gannon returned home around 2 p.m. She said when she walked inside the home, she heard something downstairs. “I didn’t think anything about it… And the guy was in there. I gave him the code, and it was all my fault… I gave him the code to fix our carpet.”

Letecia said she heard something in the storage closet and, “He was standing in there, and he had on gloves and he had one of the guns. I was terrified, and then he just knocked me down.”

Letecia said she was “crying and freaking out, and blacked out for a little bit.”

Letecia said she couldn’t find Gannon, but the guy was still in the home. She said she went back upstairs. “The reason I sent Laina away is because I wanted her to be safe too.. I sent her on a mission to get the mail. So I just started making up things for Laina to do.”

Letecia admitted to detectives, “I did lie, when they came, I did say Gannon left. He never did, he never left to go play.”

Letecia said she lied about what happened because she didn’t want to face the consequences of it being her fault, and giving the code to “the carpet guy” who went into her home.

She said she was pacing the house questioning what to do. She admitted to the fact she should’ve got on the phone immediately and call 911, but she kept thinking it was all her fault. Letecia said, “In my mind, I thought I could fix this.”

Letecia said when she called 911, “I should’ve told them what really happened.”

Letecia is now describing how she got a rental car from the airport, saying she had a leased car and didn’t want to go over on the mileage as they were driving around searching for Gannon.

Letecia said she parked her car in the short-term parking lot at the airport. She admitted that she told Al, that her car was parked at a local elementary school.

Stauch in this interview continues to try and explain to detectives why she didn't report her story about an intruder taking Gannon sooner, why she needed a rental car and more. "It's all my fault," Stauch has said several times in this interview.

This is textbook.

Cop to a lesser evil to appear truthful.

Nothing was her fault except giving the code.

I love this investigator. Cool hand Luke.

Tight timeline T laid out. No time for her Spanish-speaking Other Self to show up.

Maybe it happened while she blacked out a little and was thinking about what to do.

Tried to take her Hot Pocket into the bathroom.

So she was talking so much that she never ate her Hot Pocket.

"Just one question..." shades of Colombo. "It was probably really frustrating, it took longer for us to get out there... in the mean time, there were people all there out in the neighbourhood."

AS contacted someone on a community page, [friend's] mum organised the search.

Asks to use the restroom. Detective says 'sure'!

Pause.

Judge orders a seventh innings stretch break. No, literally, he and others are standing and stretching it out. :D

OK, so I know it's not a laughing matter, but this 'liatribe' is so much more vomitous inducing than either Casey Anthony's Disney job trip, or Amber Heard's SA story. Just sayin'
We’re dealing with an absolute idiot here, and intelligence wise, she doesn’t hold a candle to either of them.

She speaks and seems to think like a jr high school student. Really low level stuff here.

Let me condense this interview, in T"s own words;

Gannon never left. Gannon never went to play.

Am I understanding correctly? Letecia went out and found a construction worker to fix the carpet... and gave him their home alarm security number? But HH can't be home alone to babysit?

Is she tone deaf to her own stories and explanations? When's the last time any of y'all gave a stranger your home security code? It's like she has zero insight into how she sounds to others.

It's just hit me seeing them asking about taking her hot pocket to the loo, remember when she started bleating about her constitutional rights and police abuse?, didnt she say she hadn't eaten all day and they refused to let her eat?

Back on, detective offers LS another coke or anything. LS declines politely.

Alone in the room, making a phone call.

Saying something about really wanting that job? Crying. Love you too. Hangs up. Detective returns.

Returning to fire. Asking where his burns were. On both arms. Describing the skin peeling.

Drags the blankets off him, put it out, Gannon was barely awake, apologetic, being worried about being grounded for a year.

Used one of AS's tools to cut the carpet with. Box cutter didn't cut the carpet deep enough, so went and got a 'stronger object' to cut it properly. I feel like I'm going to throw up at the implication. I don't think she's talking about carpet at all.
