Good question about the smells b/c survivors of sexual assault often have strong association of smells. Drywall has a chalky smell not paint smell. (Often, the smell of the attacker is the first a survivor remembers and the flood of remembering those smell is jolting.)

Notice when she is asked about her back..... and TS talks about muscular pain. The more likely memory would be your body on the floor, heat/cool, his skin on your skin, and the feeling of the your body scraping on the rug..... not muscular pain.
