DA asks did she ever ask, what are we doing, where are we going all this time, etc.

"I didn't really question her a lot. If I did, I would be told I was being disrespectful." Consequence of being disrespectful was a backhand across the face from LS.

BOOM.

Letecia and Albert would get in arguments. Letecia would make Harley pack up her clothes and they might take off someplace, but then the couple would work it out. Harley thought as they left CO, that maybe the couple would again eventually work it out.

Poor Harley, all her life she was subject to relocations. Harley was always probably confused with all the flaky lies and stories she was told. Letecia didn't have any qualms about dragging her minor daughter into her problems.

If Harley talked back or questioned to her mother, Letecia would claim that was disrespectful, and Letecia would sometimes backhand Harley when she didn't just go along with whatever Letecia expected.

Was the witness list sealed when the jurors were interviewed?
Juror 12 only knew one witness. She did not recognize her name, but recognized her face when she took the stand. She advised the Court right away.
All potential jurors were shown the witness list during voir dire.

There it is… that’s what I’ve been looking for. That poor child. All of those poor children!!

Harley testified saying she didn’t notice anything unusual in the back of the van, and didn’t notice an unusual smell. Harley and Letecia drove the van to South Carolina.

Harley said she didn’t question her mom during the drive. “I didn’t really question her a whole lot… I would be told that I’m being disrespectful or talking back… Sometimes she would backhand me, to my face,” said Harley.

Was the witness list sealed when the jurors were interviewed?
I only saw her given indication she knew one witness, and no, they saw the witness list.

The juror didn't seem to either know the last name of the witness or realize that's who it was until actually seeing the witness.

Here are the two posts from Friday with more details about the nature of the interactions with the juror and witness:

I can't think of a new build that doesn't have a partial remnant of carpet.

IMO it was there all along.

Lying liar lied.

Thanks! Haven't had a new build since 1986. I think there was in fact one rectangle of carpet in the garage when we arrived.

I agree with you. She probably factored it into her plans to use fire on Gannon and then helpfully and cheerfully get the carpet repaired (so AS wouldn't be mad) and everything would go back to normal and they'd play happy family again.

I have never witnessed such a profound disregard for human life, except maybe the time I worked in the serial rapist unit at a state mental hospital. They were in fact a cheerful bunch who acted super normal (and I mean overly normal given their situation). The men in the pedophile ward next door had a hard time meeting my eyes even just when walking through their space and did not want to participate in research projects (a couple were very happy to talk about their shared "project" though - which was running the hospital's news letter; they were permitted to have typewriters and paper, the rapists weren't).

It's almost as if Letecia has no notion of anyone else as a person. Just herself. And since she's so warped, I don't know how she has any concept of other people being different than herself. This would of course make her incapable of feeling love for anyone. This is not easy for me to explain.

IMO.

The Marshall's event. It felt bad to Harley. She was in the store, Harley got put in handcuffs inside the store, and upon coming out, her mother was also being put in handcuffs. Letecia yelled to Harley, "Don't say or tell them anything". Asked if she yelled anything else, was her mother acting hysterical then? Yes, her mother was yelling other stuff, as well, like that's my daughter, and yelling to Harley to not say anything.
Imagine being HH. 17 years old. Having to leave home, friends, possessions, school behind, losing her blended family, her phone, being cuffed. Only to later learn that her mother killed her “missing” stepbrother, and ordered her to unknowingly help cover it up.

Despite what she’s been through, HH is showing remarkable composure on the stand.

I have to wonder if Tee’s family or others were major influences on HH. I’m not ready to believe or give any credit to Tee for raising this young woman.

Being involved with LS probably drove HH's dad to drug use. MOO

Judge Werner's demeanour is different today. To me, he looks grim, sad, watchful. Almost angry.

Directly asks her if she helped dispose of the suitcase. "No, I did not."

How many days had passed at this point? How could it not have smelled?

I admittedly don’t know the close timeline of what LS did with Gannon’s body. (I followed the case closely until the arrest, then the pandemic happened.) Are we about to find out that HH was with her for the whole transport of Gannon’s body to Florida? Or was this already known?

I am not blaming HH for not knowing it was there, I just always assumed it was some crazy nonstop drive LS did alone.
