HH also commented in her testimony that Al was "not the one/type" (I can't remember her exact wording) to get angry in the relationship between him and Letecia.

ETA - I think her being "scared that Al would kill her" - which is wording (not exact) she did use - could easily be translated to "Al is going to be really, really upset that I am responsible for the death of his beloved son and make this hard for me". Everything is dramatic with Letecia.

i think that was in reference to the damaged carpet/couch/whatever... HH said that Al didn't get angry about things like that.

It appears she moved the beds as she was chasing him down and around the room to be able to finish him off.
LS claimed carpet was in the woods on one of the phone calls.
It is very clear where ever she was standing ,was not on solid ground. I feel we need more talks about mental illnesses. This person is evil.. I have a very hard time thinking evil is not crazy.

ETA. In other articles the parents address other residual health issues, but overall he was a fairly healthy normal child. Pretty incredible considering a baby of lesss then 2 lbs birth weight.

IMO I think she started attacking him and he fought/tried to get away and the bed pushed out and he got wedged down between the wall and the bed...OR he was hiding from her under the bed and she pulled the bed out to look for him and attack him more....OR (this one is kind of random) maybe initially she was going to cut a piece of his carpet in his to replace the basement carpet (cut it from the back corner under his bed and only her and him would know about it) but then realized they had extra carpet or bought new carpet that morning he went missing(I'm not too sure where the new carpet came from? I can't find on it other than back in 2020 when she claimed she had the carpet fixed that day etc.)
She could have also pulled the bed away while he was sleeping, in preparation for killing him, maybe in her mind not as much blood would get in the wall.

But the bed was away from the wall when she took the.picture of him bed. So if he did somehow get wedged during an attack, it was THE attack, maybe just her normal abuse?

If I were a juror, Letecia’s behavior in the courtroom would make me think she is completely sane. Everyone who knows her has testified that they have never seen any behavior that indicates she is insane. IMO, if she wants to convince the jury that she was insane when she killed Gannon, she should act completely normal, cry at appropriate times, etc. If I saw her acting like a normal person should during the trial, I’d be more inclined to believe she had a one-in-a-billion attack of insanity and killed Gannon, since no one has ever seen insanity in her before. It’s too obvious - trying to act insane (or extremely odd at the least) in front of the jury, with her just assuming no one has deductive reasoning skills.

HH testified that LS told her she researched how to clean up the candle wax and carpet fire and purchased the ingredients per LS's instruction.

I recall testimony about pet urine odor and assumed the "extra strength deodorizer" was the norm purchase just like the lotion and cotton rounds.

I agree with you that Letecia was unfounded in her remark about Al. He’s clearly got a very calm head on him. I missed the actual testimony where she said that he’d want to “kill her” but I believed it was after Gannon had gone “missing”. My mistake if it wasn’t

Thinking about LS's threats of suicide to her child even before she remarried. Also, when HH ended her testimony about how LS didn't set her up financially before becoming a killer, I wondered if HH understood she'd have resources if LS was deceased but not imprisoned. JMO

There's no doubt LS is disordered (crazy) but criminally insane she is not. Having listened to the juror selection and the questions asked, they clearly understand the difference. And I disagree they are running any risk -- I think it's the complete opposite.

Through those recorded calls, we've all witnessed what the FBI's BAU terms LS's pathway of violence: it's clear to me that not even torturing and killing Gannon could erase or even the scorecard of perceived wrongs LS is collecting in her head.

IMO, LS could very well kill again (and I think LH was in grave danger)!

Meanwhile, LS is doing what sane individuals do: we fabricate and misdirect to avoid punishment. In other words, LS is literally screaming consciousness of guilt and knowledge of right and wrong. MOO

That LS might kill again and that you think LH was in grave danger is horrifying and hadn't occurred to me, but I can't argue completely against it. She seems to have no self-discipline to know when to stop something (Gannon or the post-Gannon lies). The only thing that I might wonder about is whether another murder would be pre-planned, because I'm not sure that the initial step with Gannon was. So for another murder, it would probably be another impulse out of control and then spiral from there. JMO.

I think HH having concerns about loyalty to her deceased father would be natural under those circumstances. That's why I thought talks about adoption immediately after AS & LS married seemed odd. (And the marriage lasted barely 5 years so if AS was begging LS for 5 years to allow adoption that had to start early.) I don't doubt AS spoke about wanting adoption in court (I had missed that) but can easily see why HH and LS might have been resistant. Or LS might have been resistant on HH's behalf. I don't find that odd at all. It's not as though HH's bio dad died when she was a baby. He died less than 4 months before AS & LS married. I can easily see HH might have had conflicting feelings about having a new official "daddy" just a few months after that loss.

I guess maybe LS might not have looked it up. But honestly, not wanting a 12-year old whose father just died to be adopted by a brand-new husband is one of the few normal things LS did IMO.
