Towards the end of Grusing's "conversation" with the spaghetti spinner, she leaned in and said something about looking him dead in the eye... but what I heard was, "look at me. My eyes are dead."

There's something very scary about T. If eyes are the windows to the soul, I swear hers are a portal to a very dark place. The abyss. Ghoulish, suckthelifeouttaya.

This is so obvious it's hardly worth typing but it's just so telling that there's no part of her that can even feign appropriate emotions. Forget blame, shame, ownership, guilt, remorse. Forget all that, there's not a single ounce of compassion toward those who have lost Gannon. That's a special kind of cold.

The horrid kind.

That would have been a good thing. Isolated and dead in the water so to speak
No. The more she talks, the more damage she does. Today was remarkable.

I was just aghast at her last phone call with Al. I know she said she would just say whatever because Al wouldn’t believe her anyway. But oh my word. I just can’t even. I’d have hung up.

As a reminder, LS's NGRI defense opened the door to all of these hours of audio/videos that go to her state of mind at the time of Gannon's murder and disappearance. Unlike LS's defense which wants the jury to believe the defendant can switch her DID on and off like a light switch, state experts will soon be able to characterize how LS feigned DID when she was evaluated.

IMO, what we see from LS can easily be explained by criminologists and profilers, not a hired psychiatrist that had a Zoom call with LS (and failed to remit their report until hours before the trial commenced)!

You know as much as Letecia loves to yap her mouth, somewhat surprised there's not like 9 jail house informants lined up to testify against her...

Jail house informants would probably be as confused as I am with the many characters and stories. What are they going to say? Something like, I talked to her and she's sane? There's not many places to go with this type of trial. Guilty by sanity, or guilty by reason of insanity.

I might pay good money to hear the real straight truth story though. Nothing makes sense, and she keeps those perps and stories coming.

You can tell they detest her. Look at their faces lol. They don’t even look at her.
YEPPERS---they are screwed, they know it but they have to defend her if they believe her, like her, or not.
Sucks to be them , IMO but they are doing their job.

I dont know how many times I've watched their facial expressions and body language during testimonies and they look about as bored with this as she does.
She puts her head down like she is napping, they can't do that, but their expressions look like they want to do just that, or even leave the room.

Why do you think she was so adamant on them not getting her DNA for the SA kit? she went as far as to shove tissues down there why? Surely they could easily get her DNA from other items, Do you guy's think there was a reason she specifialy went out of her way to avoid them getting it from down there? That part has always bugged me.
Didn't they have cctv from the Petco parking lot ? I'd think they'd see a pregnant woman trolling the lot and climbing in T's car.

And the defense hasn’t even begun with their side. Might be dreadfully boring.

I think they're going to go hard. The Mental Health stuff won't be boring - I promise!

But some of the other stuff may be. I fear that they will try testimony that makes AS or others look not so good. it will be a bumpy ride. I don't think it will be more boring than what we have seen this week.

Take heart!

1682134422858.png Letecia should've been a fiction writer. I got to hand it to her, the character "Cash Belly" is trending now. She invented a fake pregnant lady with lots of cash money stuffed in her artificial tummy. From the minds of the desperate murderer looking for someone to pin it on. All MOO.

She said to Albert, "I need you to believe someone took Gannon."

Al Grusing is awesome to watch and I believe he was chosen to do that interview because he can usually get someone to talk. I think LS will go to her grave denying everything. That is the reason I would like to see her locked in a cell alone and out of general population. She lies constantly and I think she would be a real detriment and threat to others. Making her angry wouldn’t work with her either. She has convinced herself that she is above and beyond others.

I think she routinely uses physical violence, as well - you're being too kind (true to your user name). I think she will end up at the State Mental Facility, and not prison, as she will be too destabilizing for a prison environment.

But I want it to be a life sentence without parole, as do we all, I believe. I love that you are concerned about other inmates - as am I. She will be very difficult to deal with, going forward, and I feel badly for the people who have to be around her.

IMO.

Such a good point - I wish we had a way of highlighting it.

Brava!

You're right, I kind of keep forgetting it's a NGRI trial.

That being said, bet she has concocted atleast a hundred more stories for her jail bunkies.

I wonder if any have gotten close to the truth.

No, just backhanding them in the face.
I respect and sympathise with HH. But I did wonder if she maybe told about the routine backhanding as a way to explain why she didn't go to LE after Gannon went missing. ?

Are we sure that was true? I don't doubt that T has a violent streak. But something about that statement didn't ring true for me.

Yeah I kind of did a double take when she said that considering she was 16 at the time?

I recall there was a small gap in time between the recovery of the suitcase and the legal, positive identification of the victim being Gannon (so that accounts for some discrepancy in the date Gannon was found). March 17 vs March 20, 2020.
You're right - I remember once it was announced that Gannon was the one found, our members sleuthed it and found that it was reported in the local news - either the same day (March 17) or the next.

Is she a sociopath? Serious question.

I disagree given she's been housed at EPCJ for 3 years. She's competent, sane, and ugly. You don't get sent to San Carlos Pueblo for being self-centered, manipulative, probably bipolar, and destabilizing. There wouldn't be enough walls or beds! JMO

Her NGRI defense opened all LS's medical reports so I think we will soon learn what if anything LS has been treated for. By her own admission, she's long battled anxiety and was prescribed Rx for the same.
