Is she a sociopath? Serious question.
I hope an expert will be able to answer that in court.

I’ve seen others say LS has histrionic or immature personality disorder, BPD, or NPD.

Narcissist seems to describe Tee— to a T.

Incapable of really loving someone else, they love the way that others make them feel about themselves. They view other people as extensions of their character or self. When the other person stops making the narcissist feel good about themselves, they devalue and discard.

Just my layperson’s opinion.

You know as much as Letecia loves to yap her mouth, somewhat surprised there's not like 9 jail house informants lined up to testify against her.

Can you imagine being locked in a cell with this lady.

Hard no.
Maybe that's where she got the idea of stuffing toilet paper in her ears?
Every cell mate she's ever had probably did the same thing just to save themselves from a longer sentence after they had to shut her up.

Good morning everybody! No Liescreecha today, hooray!
I’ve watched every minute of trial but haven’t been on WS at all, anxious to read all of your posts and see what some opinions are on some of the events.
What’s clear to me at this point is that the verdict will be quite swift, jmo!
Sending strength to Gannon’s army!!

(Grizzly true crime on YT is a fantastic place to stream the trial-the community there feels like WS)

I think she's playing it up for the jury.
She wants them to think she's insane, so she's acting like what she thinks insane people might do.

Pathetic. If James Holmes didn't pass for insane, Leticia doesn't have a chance.

I respect and sympathise with HH. But I did wonder if she maybe told about the routine backhanding as a way to explain why she didn't go to LE after Gannon went missing. ?

Are we sure that was true? I don't doubt that T has a violent streak. But something about that statement didn't ring true for me.
This is a woman who burnt a child, drugged a child, bludgeoned a child over the head, stabbed him 18 times, then shot him in the head, stuffed him in a suitcase and dumped him off a bridge. And never batted an eye.

Backhanding her own kid if she dared voice an opposing opinion is entirely believable. Although for some reason, there are still doubts about HH. That part I can't quite figure out.

There will always be people that don't understand the extent of chronic manipulation, abuse and coercion and exactly what kinds of lasting power it can have (especially if since birth!!)

(true) denial is an amazing coping skill, sometimes our brain builds walls or blinders to help us until we are safe enough to begin to process and unravel.

Harley did an amazing job, and absolutely put some doubts I had to rest. this poor young woman has been through way too much..
I hope she gets access to a lot of helpful resources to build a strong future for herself.

Malignant Narcissism. There’s no fixing LS as long as she’s put away forever it really don’t matter where. It’s just a matter of who else’s lives she affects. She’s not done, these types will always be up to something. We haven’t heard the last of her, that’s for sure.

This is MOO but I do believe James Holmes was having mental issues.

She has shown no signs of mental illness to me-not even anxiety-I think she feigned that diagnosis for drugs.
Think about it-if she had anxiety, wouldnt she be experiencing it during the 5 hour FBI interview? She was completely calm. MOO

I didnt mean to quote the first quote.

That struck me too. She alternates between self-assured posture and defensive positioning. Legs crossed, arms folded. Walled off. But not anxious, just impervious.

It was most notable IMO when she brought up the fake sexual assault by No One in Gannon's room. I didn't see a victim with her legs drawn up, protecting her body, or trauma in reliving. In fact, it was ultra weird that she made a paragraph to clarify that it was SA and not consensual and that Gannon was able to determine that because of talks they'd had. Whu huh?

Clear to me it was all a fabrication, but compelling that she didn't even know how to play the role, lean into her own made-up narrative. Never got in character. I don't think there are any yada, yadas in real recounting.

T is capitalistic.

Even to the end. are you going to take me back, Al?

She wants something for nothing. In every single interaction.

jmo

OMG can you just tell a linear and chronological story for once?! My brain hurts.
No, she needs to confuse EVERYONE and then gaslight them when they ask clarifying questions.
She's one of the most practiced liars I've ever seen.. she's so good that the dumbest (craziest) suggestions sound confident coming out of her mouth, she believes her own ever-changing lies as she says them, she can't stop... it just pours right out of her. moo

Looking forward to the "Battle of The Psych Docs." They always suck me in. The Johnny Depp vs AH trial docs were night and day. One of them succeeded in swaying the jury.( Spoiler alert....it wasn't on Amber's side ) Another one I recall is the Jodi Arias trial. Her doc ( La-hoooser ) was an embarrassment to the field.

In the meantime, I believe the state here in LS's trial has been masterful in giving all the glimpses of a sane, but very manipulative Leticia. Proving over and over again just how manipulative she can be, does nothing but add to the BS call of DID. "She faked it! She's a manipulator!" That will be the states Psych doc expert opinion. And proven by states exhibits 1- (5999).

For added flavor, I will give my non-expert opinion with the diagnosis of Malignant Narcissism along with a large sprinkle of Histrionic Disorder for T's personality eval.

Peace!
And Justice for Gannon

I want to see her diagnosed as a narcissist, no ifs or buts about it. That's what she is IMO, it's nuts how purely narcissistic she is IMO. Have no idea how the defense are going to make a believable case for DID. It just doesn't seem possible. MOO

ETA: Just watched the second half of Day 12 interview with Grusing. She is even successful at manipulating him IMO. She get's under his skin eventually and successfully provokes an emotional response from him, she manages to irritate him, and at times control the direction of the interview. Once he goes into her bad/unhelpful(to her)/untrustworthy category there's no end to the stonewalling. There is no point in using logic with her or appealing to a compassionate side once on her wrong side. MOO

I agree with you. I thought she really was anti-social, but Phsycopaths dont care about what you think of them.IMO

She really cares about what people think of her, including the FBI guy interviewing her.IMO

Does she really? Or does she just want to control what people think and say about her?

It might be less about caring and more about control. She's been controlling folks her whole life. That's how she moves through the world. I think she genuinely thought she would spin LE and AS a story, and she'd get to go on with life with her family, minus Gannon. But suddenly, she's got folks all around her resisting her efforts to control them, which makes her furious. I think she's doing everything to get control, because she wants to win, to get the last word, to dictate reality. It's wanting to win that's going to sink her. She can't just spin one tale, step back, and ignore attempts to get her to say things went different. Her ego won't let her. She has to define the narrative, and is enraged by being questioned. So we get seven different stories and twenty different variations of each because her whole approach is, "You won't accept that story? Here, have another." Distraction and confusion served her well in life until she killed somebody.

MOO

Gruesing was so good yesterday. Smooth, calm, and on point. The facts of their (FBI) collected evidence was slowly and powerfully introduced to LS. The blood stain and spatter, the copies of her Google searches, the bloody board. She T-splained her way around all of them. His last question, which she could never answer...was " Where were you the last time you saw Gannon?". It NAILED her to the wall in that corner. She knew then, there was no way out of answering that question.

He then tried the approach ( again )..of " I don't think you are a bad person. I think you are a good person, and sometimes bad things happen" She sits up a bit, eyes opened to his comment..finding a glimmer of T hope. And then FLIPS the damned table yet again, with the comment " Do you do bad things?" His response was "yes, I do". BOOM

She then cowered again in the corner and said " I'm done talking with you". She knew she was toast, he wasn't buying any of her BS .

Enter crazy/insane T

I agree she tries to "win" and has a control issue. But what I dont understand is why she thinks anyone would believe any of her stories when there is not a shred of evidence to back her up. There was no evidence anyone else was there, but she doubled down. And when shes confronted with evidence, she just denies it and acts like it didnt happen.
