I just want to point out that with stimulant ADHD medication, If someone who is NOT ADHD takes them they will get a buzz or get high, that is the selling point, but if you have ADHD you do not get high unless you dose is too high.
JME from trying to work out the correct dosage between me and my doc. I settled at a certain mg because I have prescribed a dose a little higher and I was wired and getting palpitations, back to the one dose before and I was fine.
If someone did not have ADHD they would get a buzz from a minimum dose.

In the first interview at Starbucks, AS told LE that G takes Vyvanse.

In the FBI interview LS told Grusing the same medication and said G had been on it since age 5.

Grusing asked if G took Adderall or anything else and LS said no.

JMO
Vyvanse works differently to Adderall and Ritalin too. It's significantly more mellow, no too much coffee rush, just a gentle focus.
(I have a rx for vyvanse)

Seems so easy to weed out the fakers if that is a truth and was verifiable ,yet we dont use this knowledge as a helpful tool at all.

You dear person. You were gaslighted (by someone who is a lot like Letecia Stauch, IMO). She has more than anxiety, IMO. When we are younger, we do see things differently (a topic I'm very interested in). Most of us have been taken in by a gaslighting narcissist at one time or another (IMO, that justifies some of my social anxiety).

I do think Letecia had anxiety, as you do. She might not have known all the bad things she was capable of, but she knew she was capable of bad things (justified anxiety, IMO - not like yours, which is why it's a disorder). Anxiety can be our best friend. And anxiety is definitely related to paranoia. It's a complex set of things, but so far (legally), the US hasn't allowed anxiety as an insanity defense. Can you imagine?

IMO.
No, I cannot imagine.
Anxiety is not insanity, never will be, and never was. Co-morbid yes.

It is verifiable.
The first link to pop up on search:
Prescription stimulants in individuals with and without attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: misuse, cognitive impact, and adverse effects - NIH

and you are mistaken in thinking this is not a helpful tool, it does help weed out the fakers, if someone is actually looking for it. JMO

I re-listened to AS testimony (Day 2 of trial) and can confirm things I've previously only speculated about.

LS actually pulled a Betty Broderick on AS when she learned that AS had received an assignment to relocate to AK -- she threw his clothes out on the front lawn of their SC residence and said she was done with him! At the time, AS was scheduled for training in Colorado and left, and it was a week before they spoke to each other. They obviously reconciled, and AS moved to AK soon after-- taking only his two kids with him to spend the summer in AK. LS and HH stayed behind in their SC residence.

More important, AS confirmed that the week before Gannon's murder (when his mother was visiting and was a guest in their home), his relationship with LS was not good. When asked about how this affected his mother's visit, AS stated LS and his mother were cordial and that conversation was polite.

AS also provided that he worked at the military base Friday-Sunday every other week and in his final week with Gannon, he worked on both Friday and Saturday and came home on Saturday long enough to eat dinner with LS, the children, and his mother before he left home with his mother for the Denver airport where both had departing flights. His mother left Saturday evening and AS departed on Sunday morning.

AS provided he spent the night in the airport-- sleeping on the floor in front of the American Airlines ticket counter. I find AS offering this detail
about sleeping on the floor very odd. Nobody asked him where he slept that night. DIA actually has a hotel inside the airport! MOO

The defendant was actually in PetCo 2 times that day. So weird.
Yes, I think she left her phone, hidden there on purpose, so it wouldn't show anyone where she went next. I think she hoped G was going to pass away so she could dump him somewhere, then come back and grab the phone. So would look like she went to petco and stayed for all that time.

:( She can't even make up her own original lies. She steals her lies, stories, and perps from the media news. Repeating my previous post, just in case, someone else didn't know where she got "Cash Belly". (named by trial watchers)

1682318354435.png Not even "Cash Belly" is authentically from her imagination. Why didn't anybody tell me she got this story from real life? MOO, a liar should have some honor making up their own lies. She has no redeeming qualities.

I’m watching the classic “Runaway Jury”and I’m laughing at John Cusack and one of the jurors that snuck in alcohol. I’m wondering, is there an alcohol restriction for jurors while on duty? I’m talking about after they’ve left the courtroom for the day.

I think you can have a limited drink alone but in company I would think not, wine etc can loose lips. IMO. However in this case, I think there would be a non drinking placed on Jury. They need a clear head to make judgement.
I remember living in Perth, Australia during the 1980's after David and Catharine Birnie were arrested, ( Perth was small then so people knew each other or knew somebody/family who knew somebody where crime accured.) During their trial, a strict non drinking ban was placed on the Jury, Police, Lawyers and court people etc, well after the trial a lot of people went on a binge drinking sessions it was well known at the time.

I'd honestly be surprised if there were conditions placed about alcohol or drugs for a non-sequestered jury. That's not like telling jurors not to read about the case or discuss it. I'm not sure that being on a jury requires following that kind of rule about consumption in private life. Of course, people should be clear-headed, but that is not always accomplished by abstinence, especially a sudden abstinence. And where to draw the line? No alcohol but pot is ok? No alcohol but sleeping pills ok?

Morning all, hope you had a restful weekend in preparation for more trial antics today.

Here for Gannon.

  • #136
Maybe, but I don't think so. He seems like a guy with absolutely nothing to work with. The facts of this case are...eeeesh. I'm sure he's advised her many, many times to plead, but there's nothing you can do when the client refuses.
Great post. That is exactly my take on her defence team as well.

  • #137
Here for Gannon, may justice rain down on this vile defendant.

  • #138
Agree, holding back on Gannon's meds provided LS with a little stash of her own. I definitely believe she took advantage of any med she could get her hands on.
I think it's not uncommon for parents to hold off on those types of medicines on weekends.

Gannon vomited. Might be some truth in that. He may have vomited up what would have been a lethal dose.

And if she'd given him the whole Rx and he vomited most if it up, she didn't have more to give him.

It's wicked what she did to him. Heart-crushing to think about what he endured. Such a good, strong boy.

Gannon fought so, so hard to live.
