I re-listened to AS testimony (Day 2 of trial) and can confirm things I've previously only speculated about.

LS actually pulled a Betty Broderick on AS when she learned that AS had received an assignment to relocate to AK -- she threw his clothes out on the front lawn of their SC residence and said she was done with him! At the time, AS was scheduled for training in Colorado and left, and it was a week before they spoke to each other. They obviously reconciled, and AS moved to AK soon after-- taking only his two kids with him to spend the summer in AK. LS and HH stayed behind in their SC residence.

More important, AS confirmed that the week before Gannon's murder (when his mother was visiting and was a guest in their home), his relationship with LS was not good. When asked about how this affected his mother's visit, AS stated LS and his mother were cordial and that conversation was polite.

AS also provided that he worked at the military base Friday-Sunday every other week and in his final week with Gannon, he worked on both Friday and Saturday and came home on Saturday long enough to eat dinner with LS, the children, and his mother before he left home with his mother for the Denver airport where both had departing flights. His mother left Saturday evening and AS departed on Sunday morning.

AS provided he spent the night in the airport-- sleeping on the floor in front of the American Airlines ticket counter. I find AS offering this detail
about sleeping on the floor very odd. Nobody asked him where he slept that night. DIA actually has a hotel inside the airport! MOO

About the hotel:

LE has his phone records so if he was anywhere but near the airport, we'd know about it.

That Denver hotel is IMO really expensive. I'm curious about what time his mothers flight out was and his. I myself wouldn't pay for a whole night at a hotel for a half night if sleep. Perhaps Al, especially with military training, could fall asleep on a dime and could fall asleep anywhere. Perhaps he took one for the team, slept on a hard, filthy floor to save money. The price for being married to Lete$ia Karda$hian.

Tragic, tragic truth that it turned out to be the most expensive night of his life.

And the horrifying beginning of the terrifying end to Gannon's.

Week 4: Attorney Allen is anticipating testimony from either Dr. B. Thomas Gray or Dr. Loandra Torres. Both are on the witness list and are local (CO). However, only one will testify, tentatively Wednesday morning. Some witnesses are flying in from the east coast and a witness flying in from HI.

Additionally, we start the week with 12 jurors and 5 alternates.

Each trial day:

There will be a 15 minute recess sometime between 10:00/10:30 am
Around Noon will recess for lunch
There will be a 15 minute recess sometime between 3:00/3:30 pm
Recess for the day @5:00 pm MT

No Trial on Thursdays

I just want to point out that with stimulant ADHD medication, If someone who is NOT ADHD takes them they will get a buzz or get high, that is the selling point, but if you have ADHD you do not get high unless you dose is too high.
JME from trying to work out the correct dosage between me and my doc. I settled at a certain mg because I have prescribed a dose a little higher and I was wired and getting palpitations, back to the one dose before and I was fine.
If someone did not have ADHD they would get a buzz from a minimum dose.

I don't know. I wasn't seeking a diagnosis, my GP recommended I get tested after years of knowing me (it never would have occurred to me--I think I just have a high level of compensation, or I did before middle age hit). I went to a psychiatrist and apparently blew the top off of every test question she asked. I just seemingly can't tolerate even the low doses of any of the stims (including ritalin, which "feels" the weakest to me). I get "high" AF, get a bunch done, then I crash hard into a dark depression. My GP thinks I just metabolize the stuff too quickly, even the 'prodrug' vyvanse, and the various extended releases of other meds we tried. It sucks, the meds did help a lot when they were working, but my brain chemistry demanded a pretty vicious payback.

I suppose this is veering off topic, but to return to my original points: 1) it could deffo act a stimulant if LS had taken some of Gannon's rx, and 2) it definitely can mess with your digestive system.

Oh my brain, my ears, my faith, my energy...... But, on the plus, I think I am done with the phone calls. I really, really hope so anyway.

I know AS and the FBI desperately needed information via the coached calls but how he endured all of that BS and avoidance and gas lighting and THEN having to keep agreeing with her and giving way to her stupidity is beyond me. He seems like such a decent man and she is so immature. More so than I realised before I listened to them.

I am so mad I've spent so much time this weekend listening to them all, especially with all of your excellent and succinct summaries on here, but I just had to.

I know it's quite a few days ago now, but when she said AS didn't get HER anything for valentines I wanted to break things.

Good morning folks, and welcome to the week! I spent my weekend watching Leverage with the commentaries turned on, knitting for charity, and got a bit of true crime in there, too (watched the Netflix series on Madoff). I'm also sporting my third consecutive blue nail polish shade for the trial. First was Shimmarine, a mid blue with silver glitter. Last week was a Sonic-blue with flecks of holographic sparkle called Aurora. This week it's more of an Elsa/Frozen pale blue with a silver shimmer called Sky's The Limit. I think I've got enough blues in my collection to keep it up until the end.

Today, we should be seeing the rest of the five hour interview done in Myrtle Beach and Jonathan Grusing should continue as witness on the stand. No idea if that's going to take all day, or if we'll have other witnesses by the end.

Maybe, but I don't think so. He seems like a guy with absolutely nothing to work with. The facts of this case are...eeeesh. I'm sure he's advised her many, many times to plead, but there's nothing you can do when the client refuses.

Agreed. He had no choice because defendant left him no choice. We see defendant consistently has to be in control, and that will be her downfall. That will be the end of her. moo

Regarding her intelligence level, I’m sure the 3 full psych panels all included cognitive testing with an IQ score. Judging by her lack of problem-solving skills I’d be shocked if it’s above the 80’s.

The defense asking laypeople if she’s “very intelligent” is akin to prosecution asking them if she’s “sane”.

It's 6 weeks of trial, excludes jury selection and deliberation, according to Judge Werner.
Today starts week 4.
