The fact that LS stuck out the FBI interview for five hours knowing she could stop it at any time makes me wonder if she will want to testify on her own behalf. She likes to babble even when she knows she makes no sense. She has amazing endurance. Would her testimony help her plea of NGRI?

“The Defendant’s buccal swab is currently sitting in a freezer.”

Probably to keep it from bursting into flames ( JMO)

We watched him walk to the truck on Monday morning.
Yes, but collectively there was significant consensus here that he was sluggish.... Injured....

Wondering if it's possible to survive overnight with a blunt force injury resulting in a skull fracture.

Likely he received the lip laceration and nose injury which could account for the bloody carpet but maybe he had an open head wound too.

The sheer number of injuries is just beyond.

She is a beast. Mark of the beast.

And we’re back. Next witness is Sherrie Homes, a forensic serologist + DNA analyst with the CSPD Metro Crime Lab. Holes is here as an expert witness in body fluids, specifically related in the investigation of Gannon’s disappearance.

Holes is going through several boxes of packages containing items, like Gannon’s toothbrush, sections of carpet or Nike sneakers believed to belong to Letecia Stauch, that reacted positively to blood tests. She’s also explaining swabbing and chemical test practices.

Is this where this is going?

Gannon bled on the carpet. T cut it out. Then she put in a square of fresh carpet which she then set on fire, threw it into their trash, and replaced it with another carpet cutting?

We’ve learned who a few of the prosecutor’s witnesses are who still have to testify this week: - FBI Agent Kevin Hoyland - Dr. Jackie Grimmett with the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo - Dr. Loandra Torres with the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo

I remember at the time it appeared he had an unusual gait for an 11 year old. Now that we know what we know, there was something definitely wrong with him but it's hard to know for sure what that really was. I don't think we're ever going to know the full truth about what all she did to him that weekend.

I genuinely do believe she is simply evil. Not insane, not sick, just evil.

Brillo Scrub Brush tested positive for blood on the flat part of the handle. There's also a blue and white scrub brush.

Exactly what I thought when they found the blood stained carpet section hidden and rolled up in the larger carpet.

She’s awfully chatty this afternoon. As if defence don’t have a hard enough job as it is

I’ve got to admit, the testimony regarding blood evidence belonging to Gannon is really triggering me this afternoon. Very hard to listen to so I’m backing away from listening. Here for this wonderful child, Gannon.

It's been noted that Letecia keeps looking over towards the Jury. Witness Sherri Holes is testifying about her examination and swabbing of a suitcase. She's not on camera right now as she confirms places tested on the suitcase.

She had a lot to say to him about the pink suitcase and blue blanket with blood on them.

I think her eyes were following Cook who was walking towards the jury box to get a better look at the exhibits.

She did. He didn’t look particularly enthused by anything she had to say about it

It was probably a lot of “Yada Yada Yada”

Received evidence kit from LS, including buccal swabs and fingernail scrapings.

Now the shoes. Talking about swabbing the inside soles of the shoes for DNA. Swabbed for potential blood on the outside of the shoe. Talking above the visible staining on the soles, unclear if it was blood, but the right shoe did react for presumptive positive for blood. DNA can survive washing in a machine.

Swabs from the shoes, from the laundry room. Positive presumptive, submitted for DNA analysis.

Talking about all of the places she swabbed for blood on both shoes. Everything meticulously labelled so the DNA analyst knows where everything has come from.

Swabs from Bluestar presumptive reaction areas in garage and laundry room. Does not have to do presumptive tests on 'Bluestar positive' swabs because they have already chemically been positive for blood, her job is to take samples, package them and send them on for DNA testing.

Swabs from the staircase to the basement. More of the same.

Item being admitted, plastic tub and lid with visible staining (I assume the one with the purple handles). Positive presumptive for blood, took samples from various places and sent for DNA testing.

Swabs from bed, positive presumptive for blood, sent for DNA analysis.

Brillo scrub brush. Positive presumptive test for blood, sent for DNA analysis.

Blue and white scrub brush. Staining, positive presumptive for blood, took samples from numerous places. Forwarded for DNA analysis.

Scrub brush with possible hair and carpet fibre. Staining, reacted to positive presumptive, sent for DNA analysis.

Basement area carpet pillow area couch and rug swabs, bluestar positive presumptive, forwarded for DNA analysis.

Swabs from basement, bluestar positive presumptive, base of stairs, child's room, sent for DNA analysis.

Pink suitcase, asking her to demonstrate where she swabbed. Can't see, sorry, they've moved to show the jury better and are out of camera range. Noted reddish brown staining, positive presumptive, swabbed area. Circled staining, took photographs with scale. Pointing out more stains, but says these were negative for blood. Swabs from suitcase were sent for DNA analysis.

Blue blanket. Same procedure. Reddish brown staining she circled that did react for positive presumptive test. Cut samples from these areas. Cuttings were forwarded for DNA analysis.

She also examined Gannon's fingernails after autopsy. Two entire fingernails from each hand. Swabbed the underside of each fingernail. Positive presumptive. Forwarded for DNA analysis to look for foreign DNA under the fingernails.

Empty vinegar bottle. Staining around handle, positive presumptive for blood, forwarded for DNA analysis.

Asking her about the Amazon box with visible staining, positive presumptive for blood, forwarded swabs for DNA analysis.

White bedsheet with shark print recovered from bedroom laundry basket, stain, positive presumptive for blood. DNA analysis.

Next exhibit is a big chart/table of all the exhibits and the testing. Can't see it.

No cross, no jury questions!

Did Gannon survive overnight with a skull fracture?????

I have always believed he received the head injury the night before.
