Depends on your doctor. Also who are you asking?Most of the people coming onto the message boards have not been born long enough to answer a question about 20 year research. . (WS is a message board,one of the last)

The testimony we are hearing now was April 20, 2020. Dr. Mohr stated she believed she was the first person to tell Letecia that Gannon’s body had been found.

Would this info be true/correct?

If so, it's interesting because that is when Letecia starts talking about missing everybody.

20th April, I think they said?
Reality based. Reported body jerks, nightmares. Reported that the transport incident was due to lack of sleep. Said being on the ward was bad to her due to lack of sleep. Said the female deputy was holding her gun in the wrong position on the transport and that she felt threatened. Witness says that her complaints were to get her moved out of the medical ward where there isn't constant daylight.

28th April.
Complained again about the light, this was consistent.

12th May.
"I can't talk to you any more because you'll be subpoenaed."

5th June.
Reported unintentionally hitting her head, trying to walk through the door because she thought she was at home, missing her daughter and her dogs, being in the jail and experiencing loss was exacerbating her traumatic stress. First mentions being molested. Also cites being traumatised by loss of husband, loss of son, loss of another family member. This was all unprompted. Now wants to go BACK to the medical ward. Was going to go to be evaluated for competencies at the state hospital. Reported that it was too hard to handle all the stressors at one time. Talked about a hiking trip, how she ususally took a handgun with her and didn't. 'Wrong place wrong time.' There's a lot here, and I'm missing things. Something about wishing Gannon could come back to life?

Absolutely. And honestly, GAD is probably a top diagnosis that gets medicated without having therapy (or having regular structured interactions involving mental health professionals like some groups for schizophrenia.) GAD, for many people, involves symptoms that  seem more "physical" than mental-- muscle tension and insomnia, for example. So meds seem to "fit." And often there's not an identifiable "core" issue for therapy -- it's all free floating angst related to life (and usually death.)

While there is definitely at least one identifiable issue, Specific Phobias might be treated only with meds too depending on who the person approached for help. Different reasons than GAD but same outcome.

Mohr is now recalling how Stauch began to report increasing nightmares, desires to leave the medical ward and overall mental illness over that spring. Said June 5 was the first time Stauch brought up trauma from molestation at age 14.


Prosecutor said June 5 was the same day she began to raise competency issues in court, and Mohr noted that Stauch now wanted to go back to the medical ward.

Just an opinion, I don't believe this witness, Dr Mohr ever got to know LS very well.

LS is listening to Dr. Mohr discuss how Letecia was unsure if she should start medication then or wait. Talk now about how she was sorry how she acted when Gannon was missing and regrets how she acted then. Next thing I'm hearing is something about a law suit that Letecia thinks will make her rich because her medical needs were not met. ​

Dr. Christine Mohr testified she has never notice any signs of mental illness from #LeteciaStauch during her visits. Letecia is accused of killing her stepson #GannonStauch in Colorado, stuffing his body in a suitcase and dumping it under a Florida bridge in 2020.

I think most or all of these were with schools, sadly.

I have still seen no proof of her Ed.D., but I suppose it has no relevance to the State's case. I assume she has that degree from Liberty U, but still no proof.

I would love verification of the doctorate. I was hoping this would be brought up in the trial.

That isn't true. I know plenty of people who don't have it.

Mohr just said she believed she was the first person to tell Stauch that Gannon’s body had been found, and that he was not alive, but did not say where. Mohr said Stauch then voluntarily said “she was never in Florida.” Prosecutor asks why Stauch brought up FL w/out prompting.
