I was talking to an old friend of ours about this, and we agreed that we would bet the farm on Letecia not taking the stand. We all saw the “Cousin ITT interview, see how she behaves in court, and the fact that Werner basically has to have her dragged there, says it all.

Do I think she will take the stand? Absolutely not.

Will I also not be surprised if she does? No.

I mean she did try to represent herself for all of 9 minutes.

You're correct, Letecia was arrested in SC. The reporter reported it incorrectly. Thank you for the clarification.

I've been reading back posts. Did I understand right, today's first witness is a forensic psychologist the defense contacted for a second opinion in competency? But she’s testifying as a prosecution witness?
Really??!

My understanding is that the people determining competency are not hired or chosen by the prosecution or defense. They get paid the same whatever opinion they render. They have no horse in the race. The defense requested a second opinion after the first assessment ruled her competent. The witness came from the same pool of experts as the first assessors did, LS's second competency assessment was just assigned to her.

The only flight his body took was that flight over that bridge, 3 kms from the motel that housed her.

ETA: At a minimum I'd expect an eye roll from every juror.

They don't have the bit about God in there any more, I haven't heard it once the whole case. Probably just as well, given LS is claiming a direct line to the Devil, as per today's video evidence.
