TMJ does not require a special diet.

People with TMJ may need to avoid very hard food, like, say, raw carrot and nuts? But I don't see her getting carrots to snack on in jail.

They'd be absolutely fine with mashed potato, meatloaf, and PB&J.

(Source: My partner has had TMJ since she was a teenager, as a result of her connective tissue disorder.)

They have Dr. Lewis, who has mixed reviews within the mental health community. But she's a Yale-trained psychiatrist (I think she graduated medical school in 1963 (Yale) and did her residency through NYU, I believe. She returned to Yale as a professor. Undergrad was Radcliffe.

She is controversial, IMO.
