I don't think she will. I don't think she can even hold it halfway together long enough and the State would mop the floor with her.

IMO

WE know that, but nobody thinks LS is smarter than LS does!

Her hair looks clean and blow dried. Oh no, tell me it isn't so!

Yeah, i noticed that too, it looks the right kind of shiny

Slowly, slowly, slowly, move away from the branch....

I would feel much more confident that the prosecution were coming in with a big a$$ chainsaw to chop it right off if it were Mr Allen on cross and not Mr Young. He never seems to ask quite the right question.

Not surprised we have to wait for this witness.

It took 14 months and a Court Order to get her 6 page report.

( Yesterday the Judge said it’s a 7 page report but page 7 is just her signature)
She's very special, you know?

IF the Dr Lewis testimony falls flat, and the defense and T feels there is no hope, then IMO Letecia will decide to take the stand.

I promise, I will open up a Bloody Mary Bar if that is the case.

( Visions of Jodi Arias on the stand.....for days...in my head )

I think she is her own Lone Ranger. She‘s her Ace in the hole.
For LH and Al's (and everyone's) sake, I hope she doesn't testify. But, if she does, I hope she nails the lid to her coffin.

@Niner -- Court is in recess until 1pm MDT when the defense will call Dr. Lewis.

Whether or not Court concludes early today, Judge is giving counsel time to prepare so no closing arguments until Friday. (Court is dark on Thursdays).

ETA: LS is delaying her decision on whether or not to testify until after her expert witness (Lewis) testifies.

I'm not liking this brain injury malarkey like. Dr Lewis is gonna cling to that like a sloth on a branch
Yes, it's almost like Dr Lewis *wants* to find a diagnosis, isn't it.

Am I the only person here that has concerns about an appeal on the grounds of Ineffective Counsel or something in that vein?

After yesterday’s display by the Defence and previous displays of unprofessional behaviour I’m really concerned.

MOO
No worries. LS was assigned two attorneys so it would be difficult for her to appeal on such grounds.

And less than 2 months later she felt the need to see the defendant in order to re-familiarise herself with the case. By the time the prosecution cross examine her she'll have totally forgotten what she testified to in direct examination. By the time the cross is finished she'll be asking 'who is the defendant?'

I had my fingers on the buttons ready to get a reaction shot when the Judge asked her if she was going to testify. Lol

Looks like the entire left side of the room was anxious too.

I see my Special Agent boyfriend Jonny G in the back :)

Yes, they had Ronda Neiderhauser this morning and Dr. Lewis' testimony starts at 1pm MT.

Ya think? I'll say it again. Dr Lewis is very controversial. She's getting old. She has limited time to preserve her legacy as this doctor pioneering whatever her theories are on criminals (and she sounds all over the place right now). She needs to make something stick before she dies and gets brushed off as some quack.

Thanks for the info!

Are you going to post the tweet summaries again on the Media thread? :)

It must suck for the defense not having Dr. Lewis locked and loaded to go right after the first witness (Neiderhauser?) What a weird morning for the jury. Show up for half an hour, watch the defense witness fall more than flat, get excused for three and a half hours to think about how terrible a job the defense just did....
