I’m all for letting our elders tell their stories. My husband’s granddad could talk your ears off. But the witness stand is not the place. Reel her in!!!

This has escalated quickly into confrontation.
Not a good look.

Defense doesn’t have much going for themselves as it is. I feel prosecution should take the high road here and let Dr. Lewis’s testimony be heard and its validity or, more likely, the lack thereof will speak for itself.

But she needs to remember the ‘5 B’s’:

Be brief, brother, be brief.

This is a crucifixion. LS is bound to fall asleep.
Actually, she's deep in thought and is fixated on Dr. Lewis. She might be considering trading her PhD in Ed to psychiatry. Illegal, but Tecia will get it done. Yada Yada Yada:D

Mr Young has an ax to grind. He was ticked about the jailhouse visit, and he’s letting it affect his demeanor toward the witness.

Will her testimony be done today?
PLEASE,,,,,,, say yes!

"I need to be able to coach the lawyers, so that they can coach the defendant". Got it, love.

This. I too not only appreciate but also love listening to reminiscing elders. However, when the individual in question is taking the stand in a high profile murder trial it's less than helpful. This is compounded by the fact that the witness is supposed to be providing expert opinion based on research & psychological theorems.
Long, tortuous anecdotal testimony is more likely to harm the defence than assist them.
IMO.

Jailhouse visit was off the wall wrong! I think he was rather milder than I would be.. she's talking irrelevant nonsense for 40 minutes or longer.
