Hasn’t the study of graphology basically been deemed pseudoscience anyway? I don’t think you can really tell much at all about a person by their handwriting, let alone whether they have DID.

This is such a mess lol.

If this expert believes that handwriting/drawing analysis can prove DID (or anything else) she needs to cite some research, while she's on the stand.

She needs to sound and act like an actual expert. She should know her main citations and the research that supports this handwriting analysis (but there isn't any in my opinion - not in the past 30 years, at least, and sketchy evidence before that).

It's true that some brain tumors present with a deterioration in handwriting, which is marked and easily observed by family members, etc. That's not the case here (and T. has lots of things she's handwritten, to judges and others).

IMO. It is indeed a mess.

Ooh... you just reminded me of something. I switched schools in the second grade. When the teacher introduced me to the class, she asked me what I wanted to be called. I thought about it for a minute before I proudly said, "BUTTONS!" I didn't understand why my new classmates thought that was so funny until the teacher clarified that she only wanted to know if I went by Jenny or Jenn (instead of Jennifer). Thinking back on it now, maybe Buttons was one of my early alters. And, Buttons could be really dense sometimes.

I think this woman was not hired because she’s an expert on brain damage. I think she was hired because they knew she would be vague and argumentative and lead the jury down rabbit holes on purpose.
All she can provide is “I don’t know”.
