I'm sure this has been mentioned, but it is crazy to me that the lawyer is in the room during evaluation interviews. Everything involving this expert witness, from the very beginning, comes across as just a total scam.
It's not only crazy, it's absolutely unethical, and one of the reasons the Defence weren't using the videos themselves in the court. I guess, if anything, I'm quite glad that the defence team were stupid enough to have done this.

Just a reminder that in Colorado, an expert witness generally prepares a report that includes relevant, important content supporting their opinion, and since the report is also deemed 'Discovery' pursuant to Rule 16, the report is admitted into evidence as an exhibit, and the witness can stop and request to review it during testimony to refresh their memory and offer an intelligent response to the question.

In this case, although Dr. Lewis was repeatedly asked to remit her report to the Court going back at least 6+ months, her very thin report (about 6 pages total) was not received by the Court until about 4 days before trial!

While the prosecution could have easily motioned to reject the report and the witness for that matter as a sanction for this blatant Discovery violation, just another example of how the Court has made every effort to ensure LS receives a fair trial. MOO

At the entry of the not guilty plea, the court shall set a deadline for such disclosure. In no case shall such disclosure be less than 35 days before trial for a felony trial, or 7 days before trial for a non-felony trial, except for good cause shown.

That’s probably why the Dr. and son were late to court yesterday. The ColoSprings MJ dispensary doesn’t open until 11am.

Questions: 1.Did the Judge actually specify that someone was smoking WEED, or just smoking?
2. If I read correctly, he said this wasn't the first time, right? If so, it seems like it must have been someone significant/essential to the proceedings, because otherwise Judge would just make them leave, right? I

I realize it doesn't really matter:)
Doesn't matter what someone was smoking. It's legal, unless someone fires up inside the courtroom. Maybe the judge is looking for some himself. : )

Did I fall asleep? T used both her right and left hand... so DID?

WOW.
She used both hands to do what??? flip the bird???

So any bets as to how long Dr. L’s testimony will last? I can see redirect either lasting forever or being zilch.
Quick question ,the weed is under the stairs and wasnt it said how her son does her transcriptions for her and with all her notes seemly hard to follow even for her ..Is this professionals work being handle by a stoner? What problems does this present the court with ? I scared myself y'all.

So yeah,If Maria did it and LS doesnt remember ,how do we know Maria hasnt killed other kids before? How does T know? At this point wouldnt your real identity be scared and want to put Maria somewhere that she cant murder more people using your body? I dunno..but I think that this is all bs..
I’m curious if anyone knows for sure whether her stepfather was the victim of a hit & run, and if so, was anyone ever held accountable. I keep thinking about her googling herself along with hit and run. I also recall her discussing this with one of the female officers and declaring she hadn’t done a hit & run. (I think it was in the comfy couch room at EPSO).

I wonder, when was the last time Dr Lewis did any kind of extra training or qualification? She qualified around 50 years ago correct? Psychology, methods and research has changed so much in that time. Legal definitions change, the law in certain states changes, changes are made to what’s included in the DSM.

Has she even bothered to keep up with the definitions and thresholds for diagnosis over the years? Does she still use DSM-1 as reference? I honestly wouldn’t be surprised.

They're referring to the 'draw a clock face test'. The witness had LS perform it multiple times, and LS used a different hand to do it at least once.

If you search "Recovery Addict" on youtube, he has every day broken down by morning and afternoon. So today is titled Day 19 morning. He'll create a new session for afternoon.
Oh does he that’s great thank you, that’s who I’ve been watching his video and audio quality seems to be the best so far!

How long until lunch is over? It’s 7.30pm here just settling down to watch the video and it’s lunch break :( what time is it over there? Is there a way I can catch up on the video that’s been shown so far before they come back
They're back on in about 5 minutes I believe according to recovery addict stream

I don't think I recall her talking about specific qualifications or publications after the eighties, but some of that came from what she said and some of it came from other members, so I would say it's possible she has had training since that time, but I don't recall her mentioning it on the stand.

She is a mockery to true illness.

Recovery Addict has afternoon session up and running.

Forensic interview, ha! These clips have the feel of a defense brainstorming session with the doctor and defense throwing out ideas to see if any toothpicks float.

Let

I wondered if her scatterbrained-mess might have to do with her age at first, but honestly I’m not so sure anymore; she has a very sharp mind at her age. I am actually shocked that she showed up late today again.
Maybe she just can't tell time or she's befuddled by digital clocks and has no idea how to correctly set an alarm on her phone. IDK, she's definitely not a poster child for her chosen profession. jmo

This is my first time trying recovery addicts stream as recommended for better audio, I usually watch Law and Crime... I've got the live stream on now and it's some dude blowing a horn and talking :/ Can someone tell me if he talks during trial please as I'd rather have the bad L&C audio ha

she was googling “ Shock from watching someone get shot”
That one is particularly damming. We know that she was the only one with a gun, and she’s even admitted that.

Tbh I hope she did experience horror and shock from what she did. I hope that it was traumatizing, and that she never forgets it for the rest of her life.

It’s amazing to think that someone could do something so horrific, and then still view themselves as a victim for having to bear witness to their own actions.

(my opinion)

Listen, I'm beyond fine if someone was smoking weed :) I was just curious/nosey about if/who was doing it IN the courtroom:)
Eta Sorry, I meant in the courtHOUSE
