Stop the tape. Did she say she thought she had killed James? When she was pretending to be Maria she said I can't see them. Prosecution asks the doctor "why did you ask her if she perceived it was a devil or a demon. Were you trying to suggest a psychosis?"

Here's what I want you to consider to Dr. Lewis is she just didn't want to tell you what she did to Gannon. Doctor you wanted to say she was legally insane. Dr. Lewis doesn't have a particular theory... Why don't you ask her why she gave Gannon all that hydrocodone. (Dr. Lewis sputters a bunch of excuses.)

I can only imagine it’s along the lines of:

Or something similar. It boiled down to Maria mistaking Gannon for an evil cape wearing villain who Maria shot in order to protect Letecia. IOW a pile of hogwash lies. The gullible doctor apparently believed the narrative. Sigh.

Just what we all discussed weeks ago----going for the similarities between DID and the personality disorder. DID is basically disproved based on these tapes. He is trying to make it that the personality disorder might make her "insane" at the time of the murder.
