Young: "There are people who are truly legally insane ladies and gentleman, they don't act like that. If they don't have the capacity to know right for wrong, they won't hide the body. They act like nothing had happened...they also don't lie."
Exactly!

This statement is just mwah

Looks like the defense is going with 'there is no motive so must be crazy'.

Mr Young did such a good job that he brought us through once again all that we’ve discussed for years. I don’t usually cry but I am now. God help Al and Landen and Laina!

Now defense is up. Josh Tolini is presenting closing arguments for defense.

Tolini: "There is no answer of motive"...how we can go from a hike on Garden of the Gods, loving kind to rage." Tonlini calls the killing "psychotic rage" brought up by what's happened in her past.

"This is not premeditated murder, this is a psychotic break. That is the only thing that makes sense"

Poor sweet Gannon. :( It’s unimaginable to think of what he went through in his last days and he couldn’t understand why she was doing this.

Knowing what kind of a kid Gannon was and what his personality was like really makes it hit that much harder. He was well-behaved and didn’t get into trouble. He loved his family and they love him. He loved video games; he loved Zelda, Pokémon, and Sonic. Everything about him was pure and innocent and childlike and I just can’t understand how anyone could see that and still want to hurt him.

She didn’t need motive. Narcissism and temper. That’s it. How long did she abuse him and get away with it?

WTH the knife gesture Tolini made at the beginning.

Tolini says based upon Al's relationship with Letecia and how she treated Gannon, he felt comfortable enough to leave his kids with her when he left for military training in Oklahoma.

"That is the only rational explanation."

News flash, people kill people for irrational reasons all the time. Doesn't make them legally insane.

Coming in a bit late this morning. Something I’ve noticed is Young doesn’t refer to Letecia by her name. Lots of she, her and the defendant. Good strategy if he’s doing it on purpose.
