I'm going to be anxious until the jury comes back with a verdict.
Me too! I'm not religious, but I will be doing my closest thing to praying until then

Both defense and state have rested.

Judge beginning jury instructions now.

My feed is wayyy behind. The judge is explaining stuff to the jury now.

Jury is now in the courtroom. Clarifying on my tweet earlier, closings should be before lunch. Rebuttals may be before or after lunch. Nothing set in stone. Will live tweet it all.

Defense has rested in #LeteciaStauchTrial

Prosecution does not have rebuttal evidence following defense resting.

Jury instructions are being handed out to the jurors. The judge is explaining how closing arguments will go. Jurors have also been told they will not be able to leave the building today.

Lunch will be brought in for the jury. Hopefully Cook takes a quick smoke break.

All the jurors are looking down at their instructions right now, and listening intently to Judge Werner.

What in the hunchback is that?!

I'm betting 3 hours max for deliberations and paperwork
That's what I predicted earlier.

  • #535
I called it a few weeks ago but I'm calling it again: verdict in less than an hour.

Or... shorter? Longer? What does everyone else think?
2 hours

This is freaking me out. Gannon's blue is not something she is entitled to wear, if it is Ganno n's blue.
She is the worst of the worst. How dare she?! Please let today be the last day we hear anything of her.

It's going to be her last stab in the heart of our Gannon's parents.

My understanding is many of the reporters sit behind the defense side. moo
Press sits in the first 2 rows behind both sets of attorneys.

I'll go with under an hour as well. Probably won't happen, but a girl can dream.

I know this is dry legal language, but I've got goosebumps. I'm so nervous. This is really happening.

MOO
