The defense will. She won’t. Ha! She filed a motion that the jail serve her Kosher food a couple months ago.
What a weirdo. She’s not Jewish.

Tolini asks for her to be imprisoned outside Colorado. Judge says he doesn't have the power to determine where she goes.

<snipped for focus>
And won't make a recommendation ...

Just realised that while I've been typing the header has changed to guilty and nearly lost it. Send me your strength, folks, I'm a giant mess of feelings and I've been holding off crying for over two hours now. I just have to get through this last bit.

She has written letters of complaint on the availability (or, lack there of) of kosher meals for herself (claiming to be Jewish) trying to get the jail and catering serivce in trouble.
How was she able to hide this much evil and dysfunction for so long, such that people trusted her?

I hope her daughter is doing okay. Poor kid.

Of course her statement is about her and nothing at all about Gannon or his family

In the interest in getting Letecia into DOC custody as soon as possible, Allen is asking for max sentence on everything today and says the court can drop the additional case from when Letecia is accused of trying to escape from El Paso County Jail.

Judge: "I have heard a lot, I want to take about 10 minutes to put my thoughts in order. I will come back with my sentencing at 3:25 pm."

I had to skip ahead so it might have been asked:

Did the judge have to excuse himself to go have a good cry? Because I sure as heck would have, and did!

Al and Landen gave the most heartbreaking impact statements I’ve ever heard. I’ve cried with them for the last half an hour or more, Al breaking down sobbing apologising to Gannon for leaving him with T is the most devestating thing I’ve ever seen. My heart is broken. Those poor families.

And then she has the nerve to smile and laugh, not 5 minutes later it’s just beyond words how vile she is!

Judge is going to come back to give his Sentence in 10 minutes. For some reason, Letecia is giddy.

She was just laughing and smiling with her attorney after the judge said he was taking 5 minutes to decide sentencing. I can’t believe what I’m seeing.
She is giddy because she accomplished what she set out to do.

She's proud of the pain she caused.

Before they remove her shock belt, may she step in water.

Dear Gannon,

Today, as your killer is sentenced to prison, we are reminded of the immeasurable pain and suffering that you endured at her hands. We acknowledge that no amount of punishment can undo the harm that has been done, but we hope that it brings some measure of comfort and closure to you and your loved ones.

Although it has been a long and difficult road, justice has finally been served. We honor your memory and the resilience you showed in the face of unimaginable adversity. Your strength and courage will continue to inspire us as we work towards creating a world where such senseless acts of violence no longer occur.

Rest in peace, sweet Gannon. You will always be remembered and cherished.

I’m not a cryer but holy heck. Dad’s speech. Brought tears to my eyes.
I'm not a crier either but I'm wiping tears from my eyes and blowing my nose, over and over

Gannon is forever 11.

At least one of her attorneys cried during London's and Al's statements.

I'm broken for them. And so proud of them.

I can not wait to hear what the judge says to her. He was wiping his eyes as well.

Dear dear jury members, thank you so much for bringing justice to Gannon today.

Considering Letitia was caught setting up an escape from jail already, I wonder if she was requesting the Pueblo prison location (as opposed to one near her family) because she has it in her head that it's easier to escape from. Too bad, Letitia.

@gitana1 She's had a lifetime of different degrees of trouble, but somehow she was able to convince AS that having the kids living with them was best for them. They had been living in SC with their mother, but went to live with AS and the murderer.

MOO
