Would it be in any way possible to not refer to her as Leticia Stauch?
Could we somehow change that to Leticia Hardin?
Al requested that Stauch no longer be allowed to use the name of the child she stole from everyone.

I can't think of any grounds for this given LS and AS were legally married where she (legally) took his name.

During a divorce, a wife has to request her maiden name restored as a result of the divorce. To my knowledge, LS did not make this request. JMO

He'd probably have to sue her in civil court and make that his sole stipulation for settlement. If she didn't respond and was a no show, he'd win by default and the court would change the name (at least in most jurisdictions).

However, that would keep him engaged with her (which he says he wants to avoid) AND she wouldn't settle! She'd welcome the battle.

Just another painful indignity that AS has to endure throughout this tragedy. But not worth it, to try to fix it, IMO. There should be a way, during divorce, for the husband to ask that the woman stop using his name (it leads to lots of problems with credit entanglements, etc).

IMO.

The judge knew exactly what she was doing. He summarised her conduct so aptly: manipulation, evasion of responsibility, calculated cover up, betrayal of trust, cruelty and a total lack of remorse. And his previous experiences with defendants with real DID type mental conditions informed him too. He basically told her she had unashamedly attempted to fake DID and had done a disservice to genuine sufferers. What a judge! MOO

The Judge is telling Letecia about all the people she betrayed and hurt, including Gannon's parents, his sister, all his family, the community, even her own daughter, and most especially GANNON.

She betrayed everyone.

The Judge is describing all of Gannon's wounds he suffered while Letecia brutally murdered him. The Judge shutters to think that the last face Gannon saw was her murderous face.

Multiple personalities, people who suffer that disorder are terrified when they realize their free will has been taken from them and have no recollection of what happened. You did.

But on what grounds would the (civil) claim be made?

Typically a civil suit results in a judgment that is oftentimes only worth the paper the judgment was written on.. JMO

We just call them Epsom salts or magnesium.

I think today I'm going to use the Shoot For The Stars bath bomb I've been saving since Christmas. It's blue. But later, when my partner is awake so she can have the water after me.

I think I'm going to play Paper Mario in a bit. I'm not great at Zelda, and though my brother is a lifelong Sonic fan, I've never been good at them. But I finished Paper Mario the other year, and Gannon loved Mario, too.

I hope that I was able to help people access this trial, that's all I ever wanted when I started transcribing and summarising bits. I wanted to share, to give back. I know I'm relatively new here, but as I told my partner, if I'd known about WS twenty years ago, I would have been here, then. But I was here now, for this, and that's been one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. So, thank you.

MOO
You did a magnificent job and were so helpful. Love you for all you've done throughout the trial!

I believe it would have been a request to the judge during the divorce proceedings. The husband can request that the ex wife is to be referred to by former name.
